Let me start with WOW! I am so glad we choose to work with Lisa from Blooming Wed. She 👏 is 👏 fantastic!

We found Lisa on our venue’s recommended vendors list (Nestldown, Los Gatos, CA). We talked to a few planners, and we chose Lisa because her pricing was reasonable, we appreciated her focus on beautiful design, and her personality was lovely. She is very calm, organized, and kind; the perfect combination to help us through something as stressful as wedding planning. :)

I wanted a wedding planner because I’d never really thought about a wedding… I guess I’d always imagined eloping on vacation one day! So I had no idea what goes into a wedding, or all of the different pieces involved. After looking at it even for just a few minutes, boy was it easy to get overwhelmed by all the moving parts!

My husband (yay!) also really wanted a post-pandemic get-together with friends and family from afar, and thought a wedding would be the perfect way to celebrate and see everyone again (he was right).

Planning: from the first meeting Lisa was great. She quickly sent over post-meeting notes and follow-up items every time we met, and was always on top of things, even chasing us as needed when we inevitably forgot to do various things.

She is super responsive to emails and other messages. She makes fantastic vendor recommendations and handles vendor communication (including contract redlining and negotiation, which means we get to maintain a great and non-antagonistic relationship with the vendor). She kept the planning timeline, letting us know when to do what. She made fantastic design and decoration recommendations, all of which really captured our personalities. And so much more! She takes the time to really get to know you, and nearly every suggestion she made was one we loved. :)

Day-of: Lisa and her team were so lovely to work with. I felt like I could kick back and relax from the moment I woke up, even though it was my wedding day! I knew everything was being taken care of, and I had no stress or worries at all. If there was any single reason to hire her, THIS was probably the best reason. I had the most magical and stress-free day of my life, largely thanks to Lisa and her team that day.

I could go on and on and on about the ways in which she was a fantastic communicator, planner, or problem solver, but I think you get the gist. If I were to do it all over again, I would choose her every time (NOT that I’m ever planning to do it again! Haha).

I can not recommend Lisa any more highly, and believe you would be just as happy if you choose to work with BloomingWed.

From the first conversation we had with Lisa, we knew that she was going to make our wedding absolutely everything we wanted it to be and more. She is so incredibly professional, kind, patient and sweet. She knew exactly what changes we needed to make to turn the good things into great things, and she went above and beyond for us in every conceivable way. We had a trolley ride planned for our guests around San Francisco, and she did a test run of all of the routes we chose and fixed them to make them even better. She was always a step ahead and we put our full trust and faith in her and I am forever grateful that we did so. Even my photographer told me how impressed she was with Lisa and that she hopes to work with her again in the future. I am very grateful that Lisa and her team gave us a very special wedding in SF. It was only one month before we decided to get married. We didn’t have much time to plan everything and we were not in the United States at that time. Before we contacted Lisa, we didn’t have any expectation towards this destination wedding and we even didn’t think we could be able to make it. It was Lisa made it happen!! We were so lucky to find her. Lisa accompanied me found the perfect wedding dress that looked great on me, she designed and created a gorgeous bridal bouquet and boutonnieres for my kids and my husband. The timeline she created was great as well. We had a chance to take wedding photos at several famous spots in San Francisco. It was just such a perfect day! Every time when I looked at the photos we took, I felt the sweetness of love in my heart. Thanks Lisa and her team so much for creating an unforgettable wedding for us.
