About

Well... Where do I start... I have been around flowers all my life. My dad has been growing flowers since I can remember. He has hundreds of acres in Baja, Ca. and has been distributing flowers all over the US since the 80's. Since then I have been working for the family business and have worked my way up to Director, Quality Control. My responsibility was to ensure that all flowers distributed are of highest quality.

Then I started thinking.. We send these flowers to vendors all over the US which then supply local florists which then provide brides like you high quality floral arrangements... Whew! Then I wondered what it feels like to be on the other end...

Time went by and now it was my turn. I was asked to be a bride! I was now able to see firsthand what happens on the other end. Since that day I was inspired to provide brides with the highest quality floral arrangements and Blooming Stems Floral design was born.

Hope my story captures the passion I have for flowers. With my expertise, I will strive to provide the best service possible.

We chose Blooming Stems because they did the floral for our friend Susan's wedding. Their flowers where absolutely GORGEOUS! From day one when we met Blooming Stems (Carmen and Oscar) at our wedding Venue to discuss what we needed, we felt at ease! We had some very unconventional requests, and wanted very exotic (and expensive) flowers, and had very little with regard to budget! They came back to us with ideas for ways to cut the cost with different (more available) flowers that looked very similar. These guys KNOW THEIR FLOWERS! They sent a list of all flowers used...(omg it was like two pages), they re-purposed the flowers from our ceremony in the reception to save us money. People at our wedding commented things like "I have NEVER seen such gorgeous arrangements), they made our wedding! If you are looking for Cadillac service and products with Kia prices...these guys are for you! I would ABSOLTLYEY recommend them to anyone, I have been to dozens of weddings, and the floral I have seen from Blooming stems are bar none- the best I have ever seen! THANK YOU BOTH!!

I am so so happy that Blooming Stems provided the flowers and decor for my ceremony and reception. I had a winter beach wedding and the flower arrangements were absolutely stunning. All of my guests raved about the overall look of my wedding. They are so easy to work with and extremely flexible. I think I changed my design on them probably 3-4 times, but they were still able to accommodate and even suggest a similar flower arrangement that would cut costs. I am extremely thankful for their honestly, hard work, and friendly personalities. I would definitely work with them again.
