This is the most amazing florist. Kris is a joy to do business with. She listened to all of my ideas and my budget. Then she exceeded all of my expectations.
All of my other vendors were asking for this florist's information so that they can refer their customers to her. The most common comment from my guests were how beautiful the florals were.

We could not have asked for a better florist for our wedding and reception. I first heard about Blooming Hills Florist at the Bridal Show in Brea. The display they had out caught my eye. Then, my husband and I set up an appointment to get a quote. We came in with ideas off of pinterest, and Kristin took the those and ran with them. She had suggestions of different flowers, ribbons, and vases. She made the entire flowers part of the planning easy. A few weeks before the wedding, she even has you come in for a preview. It allows you to see everything you have talked about to make sure this is still what you want.

Blooming Hills was also really flexible. We were planning our wedding from out of town. They were able to still meet with us on Saturday mornings. Even though that is often a busy day for them, our meetings never felt rushed. We also got updated estimates in a timely matter after we would change our order.

Kristin & Melissa were amazing from start to finish. I first saw them at a Bridal Show in Brea and decided to go in for a consultation. I showed them a few pictures of what I wanted and we discussed the different flowers I liked. The first quote came in a little high, but I went back in and they worked with me to get the flowers into my budget.

When Kristin delivered the flowers on my wedding day, they not only looked perfect, but smelled amazing! I received so many compliments about them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a florist in Southern California.

We had previously met with other florists to get price quotes and ideas, I'm the type that has to see other options to make sure I'm making the right choice. As soon as I met Melissa I knew she was the one we would work with. I showed her pictures of floral arrangements, flower types and right away she started brainstorming ideas. I felt at ease and knew she understood exactly what I was looking for. Every other florist I met with was very vague in what they can offer and flower types. What I loved was that melissa was very specific in the type of flowers that would be used from the beginning and even showed us crystal samples and vase samples on our first meeting.
Throughout the wedding planning we would communicate through email/phone with Melissa and Kristin, both amazing, and responses would be quick to all my questions and concerns. Changes happen right before the wedding and I had to add some floral pieces and made some changes to the ribbon color previously selected and they were happy to accommodate. I loved the fact that they made mock floral centerpieces of both my tall and short centerpieces so I knew exactly what they would look like the day of the wedding. I did not need to change a thing as they looked gorgeous and it made me feel more relaxed knowing what my flowers would look like.
They had to set up at both our church and reception and did an amazing job at transferring flowers from our church to the reception. I LOVED my bouquet and ALL of our flowers...Thank you Melissa and Kristin!!!!!

After countless weeks, searching for a florist I finally found Blooming Hills Florist. I was so happy my search is over! Kris was so friendly, easy to talk to and understood my vision and what I wanted for the wedding. They made the whole process of selecting flowers so easy and fun! And were also able to work with our budget and gave us incredible flowers. Kris invited me to see a mock centerpiece arrangement prior to the wedding which allowed me to make changes. If I had an idea to change the flowers or the style they thoughtfully took a picture of a new arrangement and emailed it to me. It really showed me that they care, and took all my thoughts into consideration. Kris is extremely responsive with all my questions and very accommodating. The flowers on the wedding day was absolutely beautiful! The only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was my bouquet. I had asked for it to be slightly cascading with flowers but It arrived in a round bouquet. But It was still beautiful and it had magnolias in it which smelled awesome. Our alter arrangements and centerpieces was stunning! We could not have asked for more!

Everything about Blooming Hills is exceptional! The staff are kind and knowledgeable and make you feel as though you are the only client that exists in their world. We saw their work at the Westridge Golf Club (the venue of our wedding on 7/29/11) Bridal Show earlier this year. Their table wasn't flashy and their people weren't pushy. The ladies were there to simply show you their beautiful work and let you know that your florist doesn't have to charge a fortune.

We went in for a consultation a few weeks later and were helped by Melissa. She took all my vague ideas and brought them to life right in front of my eyes. We didn't want roses or carnations or anything too traditional. I knew that I wanted hydrangeas but didn't know the name. Melissa took all my random thoughts and likes and dislikes and made me a plan in no time.

Their prices were soooo reasonable it was hard to believe. We added a centerpiece 10 days prior to the wedding and no one raised an eyebrow there. Whatever we asked was done and quickly and with a smile.

I was thrilled to see Melissa there as part of the set up crew on my big day because she was the one I had worked with the most. She was there with a huge smile and making things perfect. I felt calmer than I can explain. The centerpieces were to die for. We had arrangements mounted on top of tall glass vases filled with water and greenery and branches. We rented the vases and they picked them up from the venue the next day for us. Guests were almost fighting over who got to take home a centerpiece arrangement. The gazebo where we had the ceremony had a large floral spray at the top of the entrance with ivy coming down the sides. It made the whole experience seem more magical. The aisle was decorated with small floral arrangements and bows and was the perfectly understated look I had hoped for. They created vases with floating candles and adorned with rhinestones for our outdoor patio tables and bar tables that added to the whole look. The cake table had beautiful rose petals (the only place I wanted roses) and floral cuttings that the baker had asked for at the last moment. My boquet was all antique green and white hydrangeas wrapped in white ribbon and looked like the cover of Real Simple Weddings only more beautiful somehow. The wedding party flowers were perfect and just what we wanted.

All I can say is that if you are looking for a florist that will make your day beautfiul and easier without breaking the bank then Blooming Hills is the place for you. I would recommend them to ANYONE!

Kris and the staff at Blooming Hills florist were an absolute pleasure to work with! My husband and I live in Washington, DC, but got married in Orange County, CA (bride's hometown) and it was important for us to work with vendors who were responsive and flexible. Kris and her staff were the nicest people ever, and were so responsive to our questions and requests. More importantly, Kris worked with our budget and on the wedding day we had such gorgeous flowers! All the flowers and decor were simple, yet chic, and elegant. Our venue was transformed with the beautiful colors, but did not look busy or tacky at all. The personal flowers for the wedding party and families were absolutely PERFECT! Looking back at our pictures, these are memories we'll have forever and we have Kris and the staff at Blooming Hills to thank for that!

There are three things that matter most to a bride on her wedding day...for me it was 1. reliability, 2. delivering the expected product and 3. price. Melissa at Blooming Hills delivers! She was on time and provided me with exactly what we talked about. It's nice to have someone you can count on the day of your wedding. I'm so happy we used her!

OMG I cannot rave about Melissa at Blooming Hills Florist enough!!! My maid of honor and I had set aside an entire day to go meet different florists. I had a tight budget ($750) and needed 8 bouquets with 8 boutineers, plus the parent/grandparent flowers and an archway to decorate. We were pretty nervous about being able to achieve this, however we left our appointment calling Melissa, Aunt Melissa and canceled all of our other appointments. I didn't need to look any further for my wedding florist. We walked into the shop with no direction, at all; one moment I didn't wanted roses, the next I wanted roses, one moment I wanted all pink flowers, and the next I wanted a mixed color bouquet (you get the idea...i didn't have one!!). Melissa was extremely patient and willing to beat my budget goals! On top of this, I changed the flowers I wanted in my hair a couple of times after the initial meeting, but this was no big deal to Melissa, she had me come in each time until I finally made up my mind.

I almost cried when I saw my flowers on my wedding day, they were even more gorgeous than I could have imagined! They were absolutely beautiful and stayed that way for the entire day. Whenever people see my pictures, the flowers are one of the most complimented items. My sister-in-law is using Melissa for her wedding in July, and Blooming Hills has become our family florist, any birthdays, anniversaries, wedding showers, funerals, they are our one-stop flower shop!
