This review is LONG overdue! Lisa was the florist for my August 2016 wedding at Heritage Park in San Diego. Making the decision to work with Lisa was hands down one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process.

My husband and I live in NYC and were planning for our San Diego wedding, remotely. It was important for us to find vendors, not only within our budget, but who had excellent communication since we'd have to coordinate everything via phone/email. Lisa was perfect for this! She was always willing to email and/or speak on the phone and she was always so patient with all my questions (I know nothing about flowers, so I had a lot of questions!). More importantly, Lisa really listened to me and was incredibly mindful of our vision and budget when putting together the florals for our wedding.

The first time Lisa and I spoke all I knew was that I wanted sunflowers in my bouquet and baby's breadth bouquets for my bridesmaids. My husband and I were having a "picnic in the park" style wedding we wanted the flowers to feel summery and playful. The next time we spoke, Lisa sent me a google drive filled with images of different bouquet ideas, bouquet shapes and sizes, aisle florals, gazebo décor etc. She then talked through each of those photos with me to get a sense of what I liked. This was BEFORE we even selected her as our florist!

It was such a pleasure working with Lisa! She made what I thought would be the worst part of wedding planning, one of the best. I was OBSESSED with my bouquet and can't thank her enough for how beautifully she made our wedding day come together (she even threw in a free boutonniere for my husband). If you choose her for your wedding or event, she will make your day so much more magical.

I never really thought of myself as a flower person, but now I am! I absolutely loved my bridal bouquet, and it was the special touch that made me feel like a real bride (it even made me a litte teary-eyed).
I highly recommend her for your San Diego area wedding. Her website gallery of photos is particularly helpful in creating a color scheme and feel for your wedding.

Lisa did an amazing job with my wedding flowers!!! She didn't overwhelm me when we talked about what I was thinking. I sent her one picture of the look I was going for and she went above and beyond! She made the process very flawless and simple! All of the bouquets she made were perfect, the archway piece was better than I imagined and the flowers she put on the cake were exactly what I had wanted! She worked with my mom and was very helpful and accommodating.

We had a very unique wedding, using a theatre stage with an existing set that was bold and colorful - which worked with our desire to incorporate some anime elements. Finding the right flowers was going to be tough, we thought. But Lisa had brilliant ideas right from the start and captured exactly the look and spirit we wanted to have. Her work is really artistic - structural, detailed, unique and interesting. The flowers stood out but didn't overwhelm, rather complimenting our setting. They were so beautiful and we got a lot of comments. And they lasted a nice time after as well. I'd highly recommend Lisa to anyone who wants their flowers to be artistic as well as beautiful.

Working with Lisa was great! We met back in October to brain storm and secure the date and then again in January after I had changed my mind several times :p Thankfully I had shared my Pinterest board with her so she could see my OVERALL goals for look/colors and the day. She thought of things I had not considered and I appreciate her time, patience and dedication to detail for not only planning, but the actual flowers. My bouquet was PERFECT!!! She nailed exactly what I was picturing! 4 days later my bouquet is still gorgeous! She used Dahlias, Cali Lily's, Roses and a few others I am sure, but I was pleasantly suprised to find 12 (!!) super fresh fuschia roses the day after the event when I placed them in vases. Without a doubt, my flowers and Lisa were amazing!

Lisa creatively met the challenge of a floral design for this home wedding that, dependent on weather conditions, could be placed inside on a narrow mantel or outside above a waterfall. She captured the bride's concept perfectly from entry and ceremony arrangements to extra flowers artfully placed around the buffet trays. She, with the most pleasant and charming manner, magically transformed our home into a wonderland of blue delphinium and white roses.

If I could give Lisa more stars, I would! Before we met, she asked me to send her some pictures of ideas or flowers I liked. She was knowledgeable in what was possible due to the season and came to our first meeting with different ideas for bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony decoration. I absolutely LOVED my bridal bouquet. I have friends getting married out of state next year and they are copying the exact centerpieces created by Lisa because they were so beautiful!

Throughout the entire process, Lisa was accessible, highly responsive, and incredibly professional. She made my day - even my husband (who gave me free reign on floral arrangements) has said numerous times since our wedding how great they looked.

I highly recommend Lisa and am so grateful she was part of my day. She went above and beyond. I would encourage brides and event planners (even non wedding) to contact Lisa.

I am so glad I chose Blooming Art for my florist! It took me a while to find a florist who was able to understand my vision but also be mindful of my budget. I really know nothing about flowers, but she was able to create a beautiful design based off of pictures I had found online. My theme was "romantic vintage garden" and the flowers reflected it perfectly. I am so thankful!

As the Mother-of-the-Bride, I wanted my daughter to have beautiful flowers for her wedding, but didn't realize just what a large part of the budget it would be. We meet many florists, but they seemed more interested in what they wanted, not what my daughter wanted. Then we found Lisa from Blooming Flowers. Lisa worked very closely with my daughter to help create her vision for the wedding, but was also very mindful of our budget. After several meetings and lots of emails, everything finally came together for the big day. The beautiful bouquet's for my daughter and her wedding party. The boutonnieres looked wonderful. And the centerpieces were absolutely perfect. They match Kim's color's and theme. Lisa really put so much time and effort in creating a wonderful wedding.
