Our wedding was slated for December 12, 2020. However, after COVID hit and bars and restaurants were mandated to close and stay-at-home mandates were scheduled, Mike and I became concerned about the risks to our family and friends especially our older relatives, so we made the decision to postpone our wedding to December 11, 2021.


In late April, 2021, we received word from our wedding venue that due to COVID, they would be closing their doors for good. Fast Forward to May, 2021 as I was scrolling through Facebook, I saw an ad for BLD39 at the Arsenal. The space looked interesting and with us still not having a wedding ceremony venue, I decided to inquire about rentals.



My daughter Allie and also my maid of honor met with BLDG39 and I fell in love with the space the minute I walked in the door and was convinced immediately that this was THE VENUE. From start to finish, BLDG39 helped make our Hallmark wedding come true.



Laruen, BLDG39’s Event Coordinator, is absolutely amazing at what she does. She is prompt, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. Planning a wedding, especially during these times of uncertainty can be stressful but Lauren, with her guidance, organization, suggestions and positive attitude – made the entire planning process easy and enjoyable and the day went off without a hitch. Lauren worked directly with Stacy Schwab, our wedding planner. I came to Stacy with a simple idea and she worked her magic and brought it to life. There was not one detail that Stacy missed and all because of her, Mike and I had "A Christmas Wedding to Remember."



My husband and I are beyond happy with our experience. I secretly wish we could relive the day one more time. Luckily and thanks to Lauren Allmond whose artistic eye behind the camera captured more than we could have imagined and 5Cents Media's amazingly talented videographers - we have plenty of footage to look back on of literally the best day ever.



BLDG39's venue is breathtaking. BLDG 39's service is spectacular. Our guests said it was the most magical wedding ceremony they have ever been to. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Bridesburg area, this is it. No need to look further.

Bldg 39 was the perfect venue for our wedding! It provided a space to be creative and have the opportunity to make some non traditional choices! Myself and all the vendors involved in our planning process had a stress free time with all communication with the venue. It was perfect for a wedding, but really any event to bring friends and family together!

We had the BEST wedding at BLDG39! The building is so unique and offers a lot of different vendor options. My bridal party got ready in their bridal suite and we had so much fun. We loved how versatile the building is and we were able to make the layout work best for us. If you are looking for a venue that’s beautiful but not like the traditional venues, I highly recommend choosing BLDG39!

We had our surprise wedding at this beautiful venue. Everything was perfect. The staff was responsive and connected us with vendors who made our day perfect. The building is absolutely beautiful and all of our guests loved this hidden gem in Philly!

Bldg 39 is a unique venue and was so beautiful to host our pre-wedding celebrations at! We received so many compliments from our guests about how awesome and different the ambience was. We truly had a great time hosting our event at this venue !

My wife and I had our wedding at this beautiful venue and it was perfect. The person of contact for the venue was super helpful with everything, from helping find vendors for outdoor tent to helping make sure everything runs smoothly. The place is exactly what we were looking for, we were able to get our own caterer and our own bartender which helped with budgeting. The fee to rent the venue was the best price we found. Will recommend this place to anyone who is getting married and looking for a rustic look setting.

We had a great experience at Bldg39 for our wedding! It is truly a remarkable space that can be personalized to fit your needs. During the process of finding a venue, my husband and I wanted somewhere that was "uniquely us" - not a country club or large fancy event space and this was perfect. The original touches we were able to incorporate from a fire pit and smore's bar to food trucks, were endless. One thing I would say is that it is bare bones - unlike more inclusive venues, you are coordinating everything from decor to bringing in your own alcohol to renting glassware. For us, this was a fine tradeoff to be able to personalize it, but I could see this being overwhelming for some! Bldg39 is super transparent about what they offer and don't offer, so long as you are prepared you will not regret it! We are already talking about having a 10 year anniversary party here!

For me at least! BLDG 39 was an incredible find after the long search for a perfect venue! The aesthetic is amazing! The way they reinvented the space is beautiful! We held the ceremony outback and the reception inside with the doors open. The old buildings surrounding the venue made for the perfect back drop for photos! On site parking was extremely convenient for our guests! Anytime someone asks for a venue recommendation I always mention BLDG 39 first!

I am in love with this venue and am hoping to one day be able to use it again!!
