Danielle created our wedding cake a few weeks ago. She was the best to work with and her cake was amazing!!

We met her at a cafe in Pasadena to have our tasting and she made it so easy and fun. Everything tasted fabulous, so it was difficult to decide on a flavor - she was able to make a combination for us. A bunch of our guests said they couldn't decide either, so they tried and loved both.

As far as the look of the cake, we wanted something simple, and our venue had bougainvillea growing everywhere which we wanted to tie in. She totally understood what we were looking for and it looked stunning. We also rented the stand from her for a reasonable price. It was a simple white classic-looking stand - perfect!

Overall Danielle's pricing is great, she was really easy to work with, and she is just so talented. I started following her Instagram and it's fun to see all the creations she comes up with! We will be ordering from her again in the future for sure. My husband and I will recommend her to anyone looking for a gorgeous cake and a chill person to work with!

If you have not yet seen a cake decorated by Sheila Mae, prepare to be amazed. I used to be in the cake/bakery business, and I really wanted to make my own cake for my wedding, but my family and now husband advised against it for the additional stress it would cause. I was reluctant to get a cake from many bakeries in the area, because was never that happy with the taste. When I met Danielle from Sheila Mae, and tasted her great cake flavors, I finally felt at ease. On top of that, her cakes are beyond beautiful, definitely better than I could ever make! Our guests were raving about our cake and we were so happy with how in turned out. Danielle's service was also great. At the last minute I asked her to make another cake for our rehearsal dinner and she came through and delivered it! Thank you Danielle and Sheila Mae for making our cake and day so special!

We waffled a lot over what to do for our wedding cake/dessert, because we knew we didn't want an entirely traditional cake. I was following Danielle on Instagram but thought, she's probably way out of our budget! But after searching for a while, I emailed her and was delighted to find out that she was actually very reasonably priced, and that she could also style our cake table and rent us cake plates. We had a wonderful tasting and from there the whole thing was very harmonious! She had the great idea to make 3 cakes, so that we wouldn't have to have a traditional many-tiered cake, but would still have enough for everyone. The cakes were both beautiful and delicious, without breaking the bank.

I'm not a super girly girl haha and I was having a hard time, not only finding a cake I liked, but also someone that could work with me to create the perfect cake for our wedding. I looked and looked and then got a recommendation to Danielle! She is so personable and so easy to work with! She was able to reach into my mind and create the PERFECT cake for my wedding!!! It was delicious and beautiful! I highly recommend Danielle (Sheila Mae)!!! Thanks Danielle ??

Danielle Keene from Sheila MAE made us an incredible wedding cake. She listened to our ideas about flavor preferences and used her artistic vision to create a masterpiece. Danielle is wonderful to work with and a true professional. The proof was in our cake and our guests devoured it!

Danielle was a wonderful consultant who offered a wide variety and listened to what we wanted. She was also extremely accommodating and easy to work with. For example: in all the chaos of the wedding day we never got her final payment to her, and she was gracious enough not to track us down until we got back from our honeymoon to get it! Luckily I realized this the day after and was able to get it to her before we left, but she was very conscious of our experience from beginning to end.

Weeks later, we're STILL getting compliments on her wonderful and delicious cupcakes!

I emailed Sheila Mae about an event and still haven’t haven’t heard back. I sent a follow up email and still nothing.

I have had her desserts before and they are amazing. I wish I know how to reach her.

Disappointed I trusted her with my wedding cake. After many postponements, our head count was cut in half and the venue mandated only sheet cake could be served to guests (which is much less expensive than tiered cakes on my original order). The difference in price was only 9% for half as many people. I asked her about the pricing b/c it felt high and she told me that was her price. Fine. However, after one bite from my husband feeding it to me during our cake cutting and it crumbled/parched my mouth almost instantly. It was most bone dry cake I've ever had in my life! I would have been happier getting a cake from Whole Foods to be honest. When I gave her this feedback after the wedding, she called me a liar and said I was only saying this to get out of paying my bill. I paid her in FULL even though she was clearly ripping me off and I can't say for sure but it seems like she spited me for questioning her pricing so to punish me, gave me cake I was so embarrassed about serving to my guests. I would not recommend her whatsoever for a special day as your wedding. She was so nasty in her email communication after the feedback and this was the only sour part of an otherwise beautiful memory for us.
