Since 2006, Big Sugar Bakeshop has been making wedding cakes for their loyal customers. Our wedding cake layers are baked within 24 hours of the event ensuring that your wedding cake tastes fresh and delicious. We use the finest ingredients and no preservatives in our baking process. We offer gluten-free and vegan options as well. Due to the size of our bakery, we only do a few wedding cakes per weekend so we recommend that you book your cake as soon as possible.

Big Sugar Bakeshop has two locations: Studio City and DTLA. We look forward to meeting you at your cake tasting.

Great presentation and the most DELICIOUS cake and desserts!

We worked with Clay (creative director) on our cake and desserts for our wedding. We had a great tasting where he walked us through the cake different options, and gave us some recommendations for other desserts. We decided on the spot and got our order set up very quickly. They delivered everything to our venue perfectly and everyone said how delicious everything was. We will be coming back for birthdays and our anniversary to recreate the special day!

Delicious and beautiful!

Cake was nearly the very last vendor that we selected about maybe a month before our wedding. We had heard great things about the bakery, and scheduled a tasting after being impressed by their online menu. Our tasting was great! Clay was super helpful and put together an assortment of flavors of cake and frosting and even let us try off menu flavors that he whipped up on the spot for us. The tasting fee was included in the total cake price. Clay helped draw out the vision and design we had for our cake, giving his professional opinion in a respectful manner. We selected lemon cake with raspberry and vanilla frosting. The cake ended up looking and tasting incredible!

We LOVED our cake from Big Sugar!! I've always been a big fan of the bakery, and it was obvious we'd have our wedding cake made there. We chose a very simple, two-tier, romantic buttercream and red velvet cake, which the guests raved about!! It looked so so cute, and was exactly what I wanted. Thank you!!!!
