Big Fun Entertainment is the best!!! Book them! We used Big Fun for both second line and DJ services. Abby at Big Fun is an incredible DJ. She seamlessly transitioned between songs during our ceremony, made sure all of the audio/mic/ and speakers worked, and kept the good vibes going all night long! We wanted our wedding to be a dance party and Abby helped us achieve just that. We had a good mix of new and old music that kept all of our guests, young and old, moving and grooving.

The second line was one of the most beautiful and fun experiences of our lives. The band was so talented. As soon as they started playing, my husband, our guests, and I were ready to dance. Big Fun handled all the route planning and permitting you need to do a second line. We had absolutely nothing to worry about but having a great time.

Big Fun was the absolute highlight of our New Orleans wedding. We hired a trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour and then a second line band for our parade through the quarter. Oh my lord did we have so much fun! It should be 10 stars to be honest! Working with Abby and her team was the easiest, most professional, incredibly thorough, and insanely fun experience we've had with planning our wedding. Any problem I was trying to solve concerning ceremony music, second lines, and eight-piece bands, she took care of with utter perfection. They are completely transparent with pricing and expectations, and then went above and beyond to make our day unbelievable. Even the little things you don’t think of from parade permits to a microphone for the officiant, Abby was on it! All we had to do was explain that we were millennials, and the eight-piece band took that and ran with a perfect set list! It was nothing short of magic! They are worth every penny and I hope to work with them again in the future. Thank you for everything!

I reached out to Big Fun looking for a second line band but noticed that they also offered DJ services. I didn't see any reviews for the DJ part so I sent an email asking about that. The response I got from Abby was prompt, detailed, and honest and made my wife and me want to hire her immediately. She said that she is the one that does the DJing but had been focusing on promoting the second line bands so hadn't had time to get anything up yet. If that's still the case, let me be the first to give Big Fun's DJ services a "10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend hiring" review! Communication during the hiring process was quick and once that was out of the way all we had to do was wait for our date to get closer. Then Abby sent us a questionnaire about the music we would like and other details she should know about and that was that! She provided a mic and amplification for our service, acted as our MC, and when it was time to start dancing she kept the floor packed the entire night. Once she finished the Big Fun second line band took over and our guests still haven't stopped talking about them! It was the highlight for so many people and the perfect way to end our perfect wedding.

My wife has a lot of family in New Orleans but we don't live there so having Big Fun be such a big part of our day really made our wedding feel authentic and like a New Orleans wedding should. I don't have a single negative thing to say about working with them. If you're looking for a DJ, second line band, or both, you've got to go with them. They'll give you a reception you and your guests will never forget!

The Band absolutely blew the rafters off our wedding. From the beautiful ceremony piano set, the non-stop energy they brought to our reception, and the funkiest second line I think New Orleans has ever had, we could not have asked for a better experience. Our guests danced all night and have not stopped talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. Even our traditionally grumpy uncles busted a move!

Abbey, was absolutely phenomenal. She organized everything with such care and attention to detail. The brass band was nothing short of magnificent. Their energy was infectious, and they had everyone on their feet, dancing and celebrating the joy of our union. They played an amazing set of classic New Orleans tunes that had our guests singing along and joining in on the celebration. It was as if they brought the very essence of the city to our wedding.

We also had fantastic stilt walkers who added an extra layer of excitement and wonder to the whole event. I would highly recommend adding them on!

The Big Fun Brass Band was a great addition to our daughter's wedding celebration. The second line was an absolute blast, and the band 's performance helped make it an unforgettable day. A standout moment of the day for everyone was undoubtedly the second line parade. Abby was instrumental in a seamless coordination of all the moving parts of our second line. We used Big Fun Brass Band for our wedding Second line and they were INCREDIBLE!!! My wife is from New Orleans and I am from Texas, I have never seen or experienced a second line and Big Fun gave the experience of a lifetime. We worked with Abby from start to finish and she was great to work with. She handled all the permits, police escorts, and route for our 200 person second line!! They even showed up early before the second line began and played music for the guests as everyone prepared for the parade. All of my Texas guests LOVED the second line and said it is something they wish Texas did. Even all of the New Orleans people said the band was the best they've heard! Big Fun Brass Band was 10/10! I would book them for everything!
