Bethany Effects Photography offers wedding services in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Owner Bethany has been working in the wedding industry since 2011, originally as a makeup artist. She loves love and is passionate about documenting one of the most important days in her client’s lives.

Services Offered

Bethany Effects Photography offers three wedding packages as well as engagement sessions so you can get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. On your wedding day, she is happy to cover multiple locations, so nothing goes undocumented. She is available for destination weddings and can also organize a second photographer to capture each fleeting moment. After your special day, your photos can be delivered in digital files so you can cherish them for years to come.

Wonderful and fun!

I can’t express how happy we were with Bethany. She is absolutely amazing - professional, fun and easy to work with. We love how our wedding photos turned out, she made perfect portraits and candids and we couldn’t be happier. She will tell you exactly what you need to do, how to pose, so if you don’t know what will look good, don’t worry! She has a knack for putting you and your partner at ease to ensure she gets great photos. If you have any doubts I would just say we interviewed a lot of photographers and I’m so glad we decided to go with Bethany. I couldn’t recommend her enough - we truly had such a great experience.

Excellent work!!

Bethany went above and beyond to make our pictures look phenomenal. She was professional and accommodating. The experience was so fun and I’m I love all of our photos!!! She gives top tier quality service and I would recommend her to anyone!!! Definitely 5 ⭐️ service.

My wedding

Ms. Bethany was a pleasure to work with for my engagement and wedding pictures. She got all the shots we requested and even suggested some shots that we had not thought of ourselves. Our pictures are beautiful, we love them! The quality was superb and her price was excellent for our budget. I highly recommend her services for your engagement and wedding pictures!!
