Lucy is so sweet and the best! She makes it clear from your trial that she is all about making you feel your best and feel beautiful. She is so calm and also fun which made my bridal party feel so comfortable! She’s a true professional and so is her team. I’m so thankful I was referred to her! My wedding was just a few weeks ago, 5/24/14, and I chose Beauty Unveiled for my hair and makeup. Lucy was absolutely amazing to work with. She is so calming and so accommodating. I was having a hard time figuring out what exactly I wanted for my bridal hair and makeup, and Lucy was very patient and understanding, and made sure I got the look that I wanted. She is on time, professional, and so warm hearted. While planning a wedding, and working with all types of vendors who just want to make the sale, and see you as just another customer, Lucy is not that type of professional. She is so warm, and comforting, she truly cares about her customers leaving happy and content. Lucy focused so much on quality of work also, making sure every little detail was right, and that my makeup would last the whole night, which it did. I got so many compliments that day on my hair and makeup, I highly recommend her. Great Job!! :)

Working with Lucy Tu of Beauty Unveiled and her hair and makeup team was an absolute pleasure, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a creative, responsive, caring and professional hair stylist and makeup artist!

Lucy did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as the hair and makeup for 2 mothers, 3 bridesmaids, and 2 older sisters-of-the-groom. She and her team listened attentively to what each lady wanted, took a look at our outfits and accessories, and made some suggestions. She really worked with each person individually to create a hair and makeup look that was perfect for them.

Lucy and her team arrived right on time and began setting up their equipment right away. They re-arranged the furniture in the hotel suite to take advantage of the lighting and equipment available. Within a couple of minutes, they started setting the hair and doing make-up. I was curious as to how the makeup would stay on from 10am all the way through the night, but it did! Lucy uses only the highest quality makeup and hair products and they stay on all night long! She gave me a free "touch up" kit with powder, mascara, lip liner, lip gloss, and blotting paper, but honestly, I only used the blotting paper once. Everything else was perfect and I wasn't thinking about the way I looked - I just danced the night away feeling gorgeous!

I can't tell you how comfortable I was with Lucy, and how she put my entire bridal party at ease. She's funny, energetic, and outgoing, but also kind and caring. All of my friends and relatives complimented me on chosing a wonderful person to work with on that hectic and stressful day. And, everyone in our group was 100% satisfied with how their hair and makeup looked -- especially me! I can't stop looking at my photos!

On top of all this, Lucy's work is a great deal -- I interviewed other stylists who were going to charge me much more than Lucy, for a lesser end product. Lucy's also very responsive and easily reachable by phone and email, which is great for people like me who like to keep in touch.

I am so glad that I worked with Lucy. She made my day truly special!
