I compared many galleries before I confirmed my instinct - that Amy Siu was The Choice for my bridal hair and makeup. It's so hard to find one stylist who does BOTH equally well. From our first meeting it was clear Amy had solid experience doing wedding makeup, and had good tips and reminders. Our trial was a dream - her home studio is super cute and cozy and she kept me both entertained and refreshed with beverages. She was super understanding when I was running late (had a 2.5-hour drive to get to her!) She took my feedback well and offered her own. She hand-curled every strand of my very long purple hair, which took hours, like it was nothing! And she had at least one other hours-long trial after me (if not more).

It's clear that Amy is not only passionate about what she does, but is extremely talented and gifted. She was super responsive via email leading up to wedding day, and was very flexible to working with my natural curl texture and those of my small bridal party as well. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out - I had such a fun, relaxed morning getting ready with Amy, her assistant, and my girls. We laughed and had some memorable moments before the ceremony, and Amy even provided me with a custom bridal touch-up kit. She was so kind, thoughtful, fun, and talented.
