I absolutely love Beautiful Brides! They are so personal and truly care that you find the perfect dress for you in any budget small or large. They have a huge variety of styles and that makes finding your perfect dress that much easier. The staff are such nice people and they take a lot of pride in the work they do. I got to wear my dream dress on the best day ever, and it’s because of their help I found it.

Beautiful brides was my last stop on the circuit of Wilmington bridal shops and I wish it had been my first. I walked in, nearly in tears, as I was not having much luck finding “the one”. The other shops had been disappointing in either service or selection within my budget range.

That all changed when I stepped in the doors for my appointment and was greeted by Sandra and Shannon. They listened to my ideas of the dress I was searching for but I had also made it clear that I would take any of their suggestions. Their selection is beautiful and suitable for various budgets. At the time, there was a seasonal clearance sale happening, which I got to take advantage of. Also, Sandra has better rates for alterations (which she does herself) then some of the competitors, so I was able to expand my budget. Sandra was even willing to make some minor alterations/additions to dresses I was considering (added fabric and accents, etc...).

In the end, they had me in a dress I hadn’t been looking for, but was prefect for me and the theme of my wedding, as well as a coordinating veil that accented the dress beautifully. I looked forward to and enjoyed the follow up appointments for minor alterations and undergarments test. Even better was their payment plan, which is worth asking about.
Everything was set in advance for pickup and the dress was perfectly pressed for my wedding day.

As soon as I walked into the shop, I felt so welcomed and right at home like I had known the mother/daughter duo for awhile. They were so kind to me when I brought in my dress asking if the straps could be altered. Sandra brought my vision to life! I didn’t even know my dress could look that amazing! She had the perfect straps to replace the ones on the dress already that matched flawlessly. When I came back to try the dress on with the straps she had created for the dress, it looked like they had been part of the dress all along! It was seriously perfection. Her eye for detail and alteration was seamless. I really don’t have a single complaint (and that comes from an extremely detail oriented person). They were both so sweet to me and it was the most reasonably priced alteration in the city! I highly recommend brides to shop here for their wedding dresses and more! I also purchased my veil from them and I love it! They were able to create one just how I had pictured and I cannot thank them enough!

I loved working with Beautiful Brides of Wilmington! From the moment I entered the shop, I knew the ladies of Beautiful Brides would make sure they found my dream dress. They were extremely attentive and listened to my requests. When I found a strapless dress I loved, I was hesitant that it would slip down all night. They created custom pearl straps so I would feel more secure while I danced. I drove 3 hours round-trip multiple times so I could work with them --- and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! After our last trip to the shop, my mother and I both said our only regret was not spending more money at the fabulous store! I cannot recommend this store enough!

Perfection! My daughter had visited at least 5 other shops before coming here - where she immediately found the perfect dress! We received MANY compliments on her dress and veil, showing how beautiful it was. Sandra was easy to schedule fittings (bride lives out of town) and was timely in her alterations. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with her! They truly do produce 'Beautiful Brides'!!

I am so happy and fortunate that a friend recommended this shop to me. I felt right at home as soon as I walked in and the owner is so wonderful and delightful. She was not pushy like other stores I went in and she told me her honest opinion about dresses. Her prices are amazing and so are her payment plans. She did all of my alterations the week before my wedding and it looks fabulous. She easy accommodated my busy schedule as well. She is not just the owner but a shoulder to lean on through the whole process. She emailed me throughout the entire year of my wedding planning and offered to help with anything I needed. She even calmed me down when a Hurricane showed up the week before.

I LOVE MY WEDDING DRESS! Let me start with that. Like any bride-to-be, I tried on probably 10-15 wedding dresses and there was 1 dress I kept going back to. I knew it was "the one". Sandra (the owner) was extremely patient with my family and I, and took the time to tell us about each dress. Sandra ended up making my veil for my wedding and it was absolutely beautiful! The one thing that's neat about the store is that you don't typically see the same dresses every time you go in. I only needed one session to try on dresses before I found my dress, but I continued to go back for fittings and such and would browse the racks and each time there were new dresses more beautiful than the last! Another bonus is that Sandra does all of the alterations in house which is extremely convenient. During my scheduled visits, she always provided me with 100% of her attention and her customer service is wonderful! She is so friendly and very easy to talk to!

After going to David's Bridal and thinking I had found the perfect dress, I decided I wanted to keep looking. After looking through and trying on a few dresses at Beautiful Brides of Wilmington I slipped into a beautiful strapless gown. My heart was really set on a dress with straps and Sandra knew that there was something missing. I remember her looking at me and saying "what's keeping you from saying yes to this dress" and I told her I really wanted straps. To my surprise Sandra let me know that she could make me straps for the dress! She worked with me to create the most beautiful and custom straps and I could not be more happy with how it turned out! She created straps that had a gorgeous key whole back and every time I put it on I don't want to take it off! Not only did I love it but my husband loved it too! Sandra is such a sweet person, loves what she does and is extremely talented! ! She also made my garters for me too and not to mention is priced right! I was so thankful I went with her not only because she's awesome but also because she's not there to take all your money like other corporate companies! I will definitely recommend her to future brides :)
