First of all I absolutely LOVE Tressa at Bayou Bakery for the cakes and desserts. I wanted a unique flavor that most of the bakers said they couldn't do and Tressa was able to do it. (Pecan/Blondie flavor) Second, the price was very reasonable and didnt break the bank and cake slices are larger than the traditional slice. We opted for a four tiered cake and 4 different pies and cheesecake brownies and pecan pralines.
They have a pecan bacon bourbon pie that I have to say is the best pie i have ever had and will defiantly be going there for my pies.
As far as the taste of the cakes, Everyone liked the flavors and they raved about how good the cake was. And the variety and combinations- you name it they have it and if they dont they will try and do it for you. Tressa was also great about the decorations. I gave her a picture of what I had in mind and she delivered!! its was beautiful and such an awesome experience. I recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding cake.
