Gregg did such an amazing job with our wedding. From timing the music perfectly during our ceremony to keeping the party going he did the job perfectly. There was not a single boring point in the night. Gregg always knew the right song to play at the right time. Choosing Base Entertainment to DJ our wedding was the perfect choice! We had music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. From our initial inquiring to making final payments, we were thrilled with the communication from the President Gregg Hollmann along with Christopher(Chris) Smith our phenomenal DJ. Emails were always answered promptly and all of our questions were answered.

The process was smooth and everything we needed to do was clearly explained to us. When we met with Chris to go over the online forms and music selections, we felt at ease. His upbeat personality, patience, and kindness made us feel calm as we talked through everything.
In meeting Chris it was clear that he took his job seriously. More importantly, Chris shows that he really has a passion for his work.
Chris knows how to get everyone out on the dance floor! He knows how to read the room and that honestly enhanced our reception experience.

After a speech from a Rutgers Alumni, Chris(without being told to do so) played the Rutgers Fight Song! All of our family and friends joined in! It was simply an incredible moment created by Chris.

As the Fight Song concluded, I looked over at my husband and said “Chris is the best DJ! There is no one better.” Not everyone is lucky enough to have a DJ who makes you stop in the middle of your wedding to comment on just how amazing they are! We were so lucky to have Chris!

We are so glad we went with Base Entertainment for our October 2021 wedding. We even booked with them last minute because our original DJ fell through, and they were very accommodating.
We had DJ Christopher Smith (DJ Spinz), and he was very professional from the start. We did a zoom call to talk about our vision for the night, and our specific requests for songs to make the music as personalized as possible. He took the time to learn the pronunciation of names in our bridal party, which meant so much to us.
On the day of, DJ Chris was prompt (even with a time change) and played songs from our list, as well as other jams that perfectly meshed with our requests. Our guests were gushing that he was one of the best, if not the best DJ they have ever heard at a wedding.

Gregg did an amazing job bringing the party to life at our wedding! The dance floor was always full during the reception, and people still talk about how great the music was. Gregg was able to bring together all of our favorite songs from multiple different genres and make them flow perfectly throughout the night. He was a pleasure to work with and communicated with us throughout the planning process to make sure everything went smoothly on the wedding day. The online DJ portal also made communicating our song choices super easy.

Gregg and Jeremy were both fantastic to work with! They played music that suited our taste by only going off of a few of our recommended songs. Gregg has a keen attention to detail and went over all pronunciations of names ahead of time in addition to ensuring that the reception was lively and enjoyable. Both were able to read the dance floor very well to play music that kept people dancing all night long. Highly recommend if you are in need of a DJ!

Base Entertainment provided us with DJ, photobooth, and MC services, and they were incredible! Rob was very easy to work with and managed to fulfill everyone of our requests. Their online portal, which allowed us to pick our playlist, provide bridal party info, and list speeches, was particularly helpful. Our guests had an amazing experience and Base Entertainment had a lot to do with it! Thanks for the great time!!

Hands down 5 stars! They did an awesome job setting up for the wedding and making our wedding a blast! They played all the right music and at the right times. They had people out on the dance floor all night. People still keep talking about how great the DJ was. They listen to what you want and also help give suggestions when you aren't sure. The up lighting they did in the barn for us was perfect!

I recently got married June 1, 2019 and shortly after getting engaged, I knew I wanted Rob and Base Entertainment to be the dj. They do a fantastic job at every event that I attend. The planning process was super easy. I met with Rob twice in person but was emailing him and his team about specific details. They were professional and attentive throughout the entire process. They have planning software/website that is simple and helpful. It even had a section where you could choose how much interaction you wanted the Dj to have with the crowd. Prompting people to dance, hyping them up, etc. It was great to be able to pick that! The event itself - went so perfectly. There was not a single sole sitting by the end of the night and that’s exactly what my husband and myself wanted, a party. I couldn’t thank Rob and his team enough for making my day everything I pictured. Thanks again guys!
