I used Grace and her team for my bartenders at my wedding. Leading up to, Grace was very easy to get ahold of, quick to respond and easy to work with! She was flexible, thoughtful and thorough. Would recommend to anyone looking for a bartender for their wedding/event!

We decided to do most of the wedding planning ourselves, but we wanted to hire a day of coordinator to take responsibilities and stress off of the entire bridal party and family members. Grace provided excellent service to fit our needs! She has amazing advice, do’s & don’ts, and tips & tricks to get the most out of your money. We created the timeline together, she attended the rehearsal to conduct the run through, and was there from start to finish of the wedding. Her role was vital the day of my wedding and I couldn’t be more thankful for everything she did for us throughout the process. The day ran on time and according to the timeline, she was great at making sure everyone knew where to be and what was next. Would recommend Barn Door Events PNW!

Overall, I was really happy with their services provided and felt like our needs were met! Grace was great to work with and was relatively easy to get ahold of. I really like cider and when our keg of cider was almost out, they saved me two more glasses which I think was extremely thoughtful!! Loved that. To the best of my knowledge when I looked over at the bar I wasn’t seeing a huge line up which was something we were worried about. They handled it well and did a great job!

My wife chose Grace for our wedding in Sept 2021. We should have listened to other reviews that talked about poor service and poor attitude... Leading up to the event, communication was a struggle - she never replied in a timely way (except for when she wanted her payments!). For the event, Grace did not have the number of staff we were promised in our contract; she herself (who was one of only 3 staff when 5 were stipulated) left 2 hours into the event without telling either of us; she did not set up the bridal suite at all, leaving my wife and her bridesmaids to set it up; she did not put out drinks and food for happy hour until 45 minutes into the hour; they supplied one bag of ice for an event with 60+ guests; they did not transport items to and from the venue the way they promised (we were left transporting most of the things needed!); they did not clean up the venue as required (costing me over $200 in cleaning charges); and she did not return the keys to the venue in a timely manner (costing me more $). When we tried to address all this with her after the event, and requested a reasonable refund for services not provided, she told us she wasn't doing any of that, and we should just take her to court! She even accused my wife of being drunk as some sort of half-assed reason on why she (Grace) didn't fulfill the contract (which BTW, my wife was not drunk but even if she was - it's her freakin' wedding day! She can get drunk if she wants!) As my wife has said repeatedly, while Grace didn't ruin her day, she certainly took away from the joy and fun. This is NOT what you want on your wedding day. I would STRONGLY urge you to find someone, anyone, else if you are looking for a wedding planner.

I hired this company for day of coordination services only. I do nearly all the work, and only needed someone to take of care the small details the day of. The month leading up to our wedding, Grace was MIA, would not return emails, despite repeatedly reaching out. Finally, two weeks before our wedding, I got an apology email, stating that she had “let her personal life affect her job” and that I could hit someone else if I wanted to. I was shocked, and in no position to do so just 14 days until the event. Her leadership and social skills are lacking, she did not communicate well with myself and our party, she was condescending, and ignorantly and rudely suggested we “shut it down” when a family member of mine had a little disagreement with another family member (lots of drunk people lol). I would not recommend this company, or Grace the owner. In the end, my family members were still doing the very tasks I had a hired this person to do, and that stills bothers me to me core.

I hired Grace to decorate an event my company was sponsoring. I wish I would have seen some of these other comments. Do not hire her under any circumstances. Leading up to the event, communication was spotty and constantly late. Day of she tells me she did not have any of the decorations as she did not order them in time and they had not arrived. I should have been informed earlier so I could have had a back up but again, communication was unprofessional and inconsiderate. she did still show up but the quality of what she slapped together was so poor the event host was extremely upset. I had to pay an extra $700 for floral that she refused to cover. I was told I would be getting a PARTIAL refund. She gave me dates multiple times for refund and did not come through. She eventually stopped responding. She stated that she did not have the money to refund me. As she did not have any decor I'm wondering what she did with the thousands of dollars I paid her? it is also worth adding that she approached us for the gig as we posted it on an industry facebook group and then used the excuse that she was "in over her head on this job" (something she did not confess until she had already messed the event up). Reading the responses to some of her other negative comments on this page I can tell you she is lying. She insists she is not a scammer. she is 100% a scammer. Do not hire this company.
