I have been fascinated with makeup since I was a little girl. Maybe not the makeup itself, but the results in which it yields. As a child, I came to the conclusion that women who wore makeup exuded a certain confidence about themselves even though it may not have been their intent. I admired that. I would always stare at those women in amazement and say to myself "that's going to be me one day". As I got older I would play in makeup that I stowed away secretly, because I was not allowed to wear makeup at a young age. I would go on to dabble in my makeup until I got better and better. Eventually my friends wanted in on the action and would occasionally commission me to do their makeup if they had a special event to attend. After attending Empire Beauty School in NYC for Makeup Artistry I've done Harlem Fashion Week, Magazine covers for Elegant and Talk Magazine and have been signed to Directions USA artist agency where I have done makeup for Belk, CWDKids, and commercials.
