Gina did my hair and Dana did my make up. I thought I left happy on my trial; boy was I in for a surprise!! I couldn't have been happier with how I looked and how they treated me! The salon is clean professional and the stylists are all AMAZING! All my bridesmaids got their hair and make up done there as well as my mother in law and my mom got her make up done there. EVERYONE looked stunning. Multiple stylists worked on our crew and everyone looked gorgeous all night long. No readjusting hair or make up; just reapplying lipstick! So SO HAPPY! We had a table set up for us when we came in with snacks, coffee, tea, water mimosas etc It was wonderful!! Thank you: Nancy, Tasha, Rachel, Gina, Dana, Lisa, Celeste, Ava, Kim, Elona, Cara and all the rest of the staff at Avanti for making my wedding day amazing!!!

Now these girls know what their doing! I was so confident in them that I didn't even come for a trial. All of our hair and makeup turned out absolutley gorgeous and flawless! It's clear that these ladies are artists. Couldnt be happier that I chose Avanti Day Resort for my wedding day!! Thank you tons!

Ava (Lauren) did an AMAZING job on my hair. It did not move all night! It was an absolutely beautiful formal updo.
Lisa did my make up. I wasn't going to have them do eyelashes but I am so glad I decided to last minute. I did not need to re-apply my eye make up all night long! I left the salon at 11:30am and everything stayed perfect all night! I would highly recommend both Ava and Lisa for your wedding day hair & makeup!

I loved working with Avanti for my wedding day hair and makeup. Kim did a fabulous job on my hair. It lasted all night and was mostly down. I couldn't believe it! I would recommend Kim to anyone. Shelley did an awesome job with my makeup. No need to retouch makeup other than the lips which is expected but I bought the gloss and my bridesmaids kept retouching my lips throughout the night. I do makeup pretty well and was amazed and how great of a job she did. Lisamarie was our coordinator and was so sweet and extremely flexible with all our time changes and scheduling the many girls getting their hair and makeup done. Would love to work with them again!

Avanti did a great job for my wedding! They were able to do hair and makeup for me, my mother, and 5 of my bridesmaids, all within 2 hours! They even squeezed in a bridesmaid 3 days before the wedding who had not scheduled her hair and makeup but then changed her mind. Another one of my bridesmaids decided she wanted her hair done a different way AFTER it was already done, and they had no problem changing the sytle for her just to make sure she was pleased. Not to mention they had a continuous supply of pastries, mimosas, and coffee out for us. For a very stressful morning (for me), they made it incredibly relaxing!

From the first phone call I made to Avanti until the minute I walked out the door I was very happy. They accomidated me with every need possible. They make you feel at home and they did it with a smile. When I walked in the door on my wedding day I was handed a mimosa, then the hair dresser greeted me up at the front and was ready to start my transformation. I also had my make up done that was perfection! I left Avanti feeling great and knowing it was all worth it.

I got my hair color done by Lois, my cut done by Angel and my extensions and wedding hair do done by Gina. All tree of these ladies helped me throughout the year getting ready to look my best for my wedding. Angel gave me a nice style to my hair and Lois got me the perfect shade of blonde. Gina does AMAZING hair extentions, they looked so natural and lasted for 6 months after my wedding!

I had previously booked a very well known company to do my hair for my wedding. That company messed with my trial so many times that I cancelled my contract with them two months before my wedding. I grew up going to Avanti back when it was called Shampoo in the early 1990s. I always knew that they were a wonderful salon, and my whole family has gone there on and off for 20 years. I was dumb not to listen to my mother and just book their bridal team when I got engaged. I worked with Ava (stylist) and Rachel (the bridal consultant) at Avanti and it was a wonderful experience. I am a beauty junkie and have strong hair knowledge, so I need someone who knew their stuff, who made me feel confident. Ava was that person. Rachel helped me seamlessly book a trail with Ava about 10 days after my initial panicked phone call. The trial was PERFECT and I used clip on hair extensions. Ava knows how to work fake hair and I felt so relieved. Ava and Sarah came to my hotel in North NJ and spent 5 hours with my 8 person bridal party. I was so pleased with their work. Sarah was so patient. Two of my girls asked for their hair to be done differently after their styles were completed. Since we had time, they were easily re-styled. I got so many compliments on my hair and NO ONE knew I had extensions in. The whole salon is really wonderful and I am telling you, go to Ava for your wedding hair- she is talented and just a sweetheart.

I love Avanti and have been going there for years. I knew I could go no where else for this special occasion. My hair and makeup turned out perfectly!!! Avanti can be pretty expensive though - so just keep that in mind. My overall experience was great!
