Avanté Hair & Day Spa was the perfect place to get my hair and makeup done for my wedding. First of all the salon is so cute inside and everyone who works there is super nice. They were more than accommodating for my needs. Maggie made my hair look amazing-It was just as I had pictured wanting my hair to look on my wedding day- and she was so sweet too! Ann is a makeup genius and did a wonderful job of beautifying me! My hair and makeup stayed perfect all day even after pictures outside in the wind & rain. These girls did an awesome job at helping me to feel confident and comfortable on my wedding day! I could not have been happier with the outcome.

Maggie at Avante was AMAZING!

I scheduled my bridal makeup just a week before the wedding and didn't have time for a trial (came in from out of town). I came the day of with pictures of what I wanted and a concise list of my concerns (number one was acne and redness of the face). Maggie listened to my concerns, looked at the pictures and went to work. She chatted with me the entire time and really put me at ease. She showed me when my eyes were complete, and I almost started crying I was so happy. Then, with the lips and finishing touches done, I almost started crying AGAIN. I was SO happy with the look I got. Maggie even gave me a bit of the lipstick for touchups during the night, which was just above and beyond amazing.

The salon was very accommodating especially when I had to change the plans a few times as far as the timeline went and the services we needed. My hair, the bridesmaids, and the mother of the bride and mother of the grooms hair looked amazing and it lasted all day. We all looked so beautiful! They even provided us with coffee and donuts while getting ready which was a nice touch.

Avante hosted my large bridal party for my wedding with ease! I had 7 bridesmaids, a flower girl, both our moms and myself. Kristen worked so hard for me to get a schedule that worked for everyone and she was amazing! The accommodated last minute changes and were willing to do whatever we needed to make the day go smoothly! All of the ladies here are so nice and helpful. The atmosphere was perfect for all of us to relax - the salon is so cozy and well-decorated. It looked GREAT in my wedding getting-ready pictures! Lastly and most importantly - I LOVED my hair and makeup...as well as all the bridemaids/moms/flower girl! The curls stayed in all night and the makeup was indestructible! Thanks so much for everything, Avante! :)

Avante Hair and Day Spa hosted my bridesmaids and I on my wedding day. All 10 of my bridesmaids were welcomed. They have an absolutely perfect salon for a bridal party; there is a substantial amount of space and they are extremely accommodating. I had many last minute changes with the schedule, and Avante was more than willing to adjust to whatever I needed. Everything they did throughout the process was extremely professional and done in a timely matter. All of my bridesmaids had their hair done and loved it. I personally loved my hair and make up for my wedding, too. We all felt very comfortable there and had so much fun. Avante made the time at the salon all about us; they played a significant role in making my wedding date so great, which is what every bride dreams of. I would highly recommend Avante to anyone in the greater Kalamazoo area needing any type of beauty services. They definitely deserve the 5 star review. Thanks again to Avante! You all are wonderful!

I chose this salon for the friendliness and their prices were more manageable than any of the others i looked into in the area it was also not very far from our venue. They were super flexible and the girls were all super sweet. They allowed us to add things at the last minute and change things as much as we needed. All of my girls looked great but i wish my hair would have stayed a little better. Also my make up looked great when i left the salon but did not last. it looked very bad by the end of the night, and it got all over my husbands face and clothes. They also took a lot longer on things than i had planned. I recommend giving yourself lots of extra time and maybe consider getting your make up done elsewhere or bring make up for touch ups.
