Aurora is a beautiful venue, and the food is amazing, but what made our wedding absolutely perfect was just how wonderful the staff at Aurora was. From the moment we chose it, to cleaning up, everyone as so kind, thoughtful and wonderful. Guillermo was so wonderful, so sweet and really made our day perfect. We are so grateful we got to get married at Aurora.

We had a 75-person wedding at Aurora in June and it was perfect! The venue is beautiful and it was exactly the right size for us (though it can accommodate up to 90). The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are incredibly good at their jobs - our guests raved about the food and the service afterwards (and they are still telling us about it three months later)! Aurora's event coordinator, Catalina, is so easy to work with - she met with us and our day-of coordinator to plan out the whole evening, she easily accommodated our requests (including dietary restrictions), and she provided wonderful advice based on her and the staff's experience. The progression from ceremony (outside) to cocktail hour (inside) to dinner (outside) to dancing (inside) was seamless. And when it started raining in the middle of dinner, the staff acted so quickly to cover the areas of the garden that was open to the elements, there was basically no interruption - everyone was so impressed! We're extremely happy with how everything went and we can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else. Thank you Aurora!!!

We recently hosted our wedding at Aurora and couldn't be happier with how it turned out! It's the perfect venue for an intimate, romantic but low-key wedding in New York City. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and several commented on the quality of the service they received. They handled food allergies incredibly well, despite it being a 'family style' menu. The staff also went above and beyond to quickly 'winterize' the mixed indoor/outdoor space in the 48 hours before the wedding since we happened to get married during a tropical storm! We really can't thank the Aurora team enough! They are truly the best.

My husband and I got married at Aurora on May 29th this year and we couldn't have found a better venue with an even more amazing staff to share our special day with.

From the minute we set foot in Aurora and saw the rustic, intimate, romantic space with greenery abounding, we knew it was *our* wedding venue.

Catalina, the events manager, was so kind and helpful from the get go. She answered every single question we had with no delay: from the very first email we sent when we were interested in seeing the space right up until our wedding day. It's so funny to think we've never actually met her in person because we communicated exclusively via email (hundreds of them!) Regardless of that fact, she was efficient and emanated warmth through her emails.

Fast forward to our walk-through and tasting!
We strangely enough had never eaten at Aurora prior. We just fell in love with the space and the glowing food reviews were enough for us. The staff was so kind and helpful right away--we ate and drank SO much. In particular, Juan was so helpful in pointing out his recommendations. We also had the pleasure of meeting Guillermo at our walk-through. He was THE KINDEST and smiliest restaurant manager we've ever met. We naturally asked him if he'd be working our wedding day because who wouldn't want that good energy on their day? On the spot, he checked and said he wasn't.

Fast forward to our wedding day! Guillermo switched shifts to work our wedding day! We were SO touched he did this. And everything was so lovely and perfect thanks to him and the rest of the staff at Aurora. The food was absolutely delicious. Our dear guests, even the foodiest of foodies, said it was hands down the best wedding and wedding food they've ever had. The service was so seamless. The number of staff on the floor was small but they knew their stuff and everything was so smooth: from flipping the ceremony space to dinner to every little detail in between. The kitchen even helped assemble our donut tower which was our wedding cake.
Towards the end of the night, we even got to boogie a bit with the awesome Guillermo. The staff at Aurora made us feel so welcome and they honestly, feel like family now.

The next day, when we picked up the rest of our decorations (yes, they let us leave it there over night so we didn't have to worry about it) the servers and bartenders were kind enough to ask about one of our dear friends who got a little too too too tipsy at our wedding 😅 As a couple who has had their share of restaurant jobs, we loved knowing that the staff at Aurora bonded with our guests and vice versa.

We had our wedding in the garden at Aurora and it was truly magical! It was on a Friday afternoon with an intimate casual ceremony and a lunch following. Aurora has been a long time family favorite for us, so it was so special to have our wedding there. The Aurora staff was super helpful in crafting our menu and helping us plan the layout and flow of the event. All of the food and cocktails were AMAZING, the space was gorgeous, and overall it provided the perfect vibe for what we were looking for. Thank you so much Aurora!

The restaurant was wonderful! The food was superb. All my guests loved it. The staff was great and accommodating. Irene (the event coordinator) was very responsive. And the garden-like backyard was absolutely beautiful. The prices were also reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place!

Everything was absolutely perfect. We selected Aurora as the venue for our ceremony and reception because of the rustic Italian ambiance and the food. Irene was our awesome coordinator. She really took good care of us and was very thorough! The food was amazing. A lot of our guests made comments on that and some even said this is some of the best wedding food that they had. The service and staff were great especially Stefano, Steve and Alexei. They went out of their way to make our wedding day special and to make us feel relaxed. Love this place!

Aurora was every definition of perfect. They were very accommodating from the beginning. If you want a small, intimate wedding with fantastic food, look no further! My family and friends can't stop complimenting the venue and food... They all left extremely happy which is more than I can ask for.

The venue is beautiful to begin with, but there are lots of room to personalize the space any way you want. I recommend having less than 80 guests because if there is a chance of rain, you might lose 20% of the space. (However, you can rent a tent separately.) We had 50% chance of rain according to the forecast but thankfully, it did not rain at all! we did seat some guest in the inside because we didn't want to risk them getting rained up mid-dinner. 80 people still comfortably sat and enjoyed their time but any more than that might be crowded. The restaurant, of course, makes sure you are aware of this and accommodate to your needs.

Amazing restaurant and all around great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about renting out a venue. Super hip neighborhood as well!
