Perfect 30 person wedding

my husband and I had a small 30-person wedding celebration at Sunday in Brooklyn, which was beyond our wildest dreams. We planned it in only 2 months, which was incredibly seamless with the help of the Sunday in Brooklyn team, who we could completely trust to take things over. From the moment we reached out with an inquiry, the staff was incredibly responsive and accomodating and made us feel incredibly confident that we had chosen the right venue. There were over 100 emails between us leading up to the day, with the staff ensuring that every single vision we had could be accomodated, from the dietary restrictions, to rearranging the art, to using different spaces as changing rooms, to playing music cues at our kiss and entrance. Our coordinator went out of her way to make suggestions and give us ideas about things we hadn’t thought of, such as menu customizations and decor ideas, which was incredibly helpful. The day itself was the most magical one of my life, but I will never take for granted how smoothly it went with Sunday in Brooklyn’s incredible staff who made everything we wanted possible.

A wonderful & intimate October wedding

We absolutely loved our October wedding at Sunday in Brooklyn! We hosted an intimate wedding with around 40 guests, and the space was very accommodating. We especially loved having the terrace area for cocktail hour as our guests could meet and mingle ahead of sitting down for dinner. The family-style food service really fit perfectly for the intimacy of our event, and multiple guests told us how much they loved the food.

The space looked beautiful with the pink and orange hues of our flower arrangements and the plants and other greenery already there.

Beautiful Experience at Sunday In Brooklyn

Our son and daughter-in-law held their wedding ceremony and reception at Sunday In Brooklyn in May, 2022. It was an intimate ceremony with only 18 guests, and a truly a magical experience. We rented both second floor rooms and I was amazed at the efficient and creative set-up, allowing us to move from cocktails in the garden to row seating with an aisle for the ceremony itself, to a seated dinner and then on to a dance floor to end the evening in a very festive celebration. Timing was impeccable, the menu selection was great and food was delicious and and plentiful. Sydney the event coordinator was incredible throughout, from the time that we first began exploring the venue and the on-site manager and entire staff were fantastic as well. It was an evening we will never forget. Thank you, Sunday In Brooklyn!

Wedding ceremony and reception dinner

We had an intimate wedding ceremony followed by a reception dinner at Sunday in Brooklyn. The vibe was perfect and cozy and the food and drinks were delicious. The event planner worked closely with us for months and made it easy to finalize all the details. We started with non-alcoholic beverages for when the guests arrived followed by the wedding ceremony and photos at Domino Park then returned to the restaurant for cocktail hour and then a seated dinner. We rented out the entire 2nd floor (sun room for ceremony and seated dinner and enclosed patio for cocktail hour while they flipped the sun room). Overall, the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding absolutely perfect. Even when I was late to the ceremony because of traffic, they didn’t rush at out at the end of the night. Highly recommend for a small wedding and/or reception dinner!

Perfect low-key wedding dinner

My husband and I wanted a low-key setting for a wedding celebration dinner - Sunday in Brooklyn was the perfect place. Super helpful and always in constant communication. Everyone talked about how the dinner was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We didn't have a ceremony but did buy out the whole place to do cocktails on the first floor, dinner on the second, then back downstairs for toasts and dessert. Highly recommend for a great location and amazing food!

Perfect for intimate & beautiful wedding

After searching venues for a few months for a small wedding and reception for about 25 people, I came across Sunday In Brooklyn, and I'm glad I did! I tried out other venues in the area, but none provided both the vibrant, natural, and relaxed vibe I was looking for AND the really delicious food options! It was always either/or, until I visited Sunday In Brooklyn. I first saw photos and decided to take a trip to try the food and see for myself. The food was so delicious, excellent service, and the space was just what we wanted. The staff was top notch from beginning to end. Working with their team was such a breeze, and they were so accommodating of my specific requests throughout. I recommend them to anyone looking to host an intimate and beautiful wedding! Everyone that attendeded really enjoyed themselves and raved about the space, food, and ambiance. It was just perfect!

Best intimate wedding

My wife and I eloped but still wanted to have a big dinner to celebrate our nuptials. Not only did SIB make it incredibly easy, but their execution was exceptional. They were able to connect us with a florist who already knew the space and made it so beautiful and the food and drinks were absolutely amazing. After the party, friends and family still talk ab how beautiful it was but even more so ab how wonderful the food was. Everything ran so smoothly and I love to look at photos and relive the perfect night that it was. Highly HIGHLY recommend having Sunday in Brooklyn to host your event.

Do Not Book Garden Room

I did not use this venue for a wedding, but rather a baby shower. I am writing this review because I wouldn't want other people to have the same disappointment that I did. I rented out the "second floor covered Garden" room which they told me is "technically outdoors, however it's fully enclosed with heaters / AC as needed." Our event was on a cold day in March and this room was not temperature controlled at all, with non-functional heaters that looked to be decades old. Our guests had to wear their coats during the event. I would also be concerned that this room would get very hot in the summer because it had one small A/C. I would not recommend booking this room in the venue unless you are sure the weather will be very mild. Otherwise the food was great and the rest of the rooms in the venue looked to actually be real rooms. The venue only refunded me a small amount of money for not being able to provide a room that was actually temperature controlled.
