What a year to get married! After an initial postponement my husband and I tied the knot in October 2020 - with so many family and friends joining us virtually, we knew we wanted a high quality streamer who took the guesswork and technical concerns out of our hands. I connected with Randy because he was recommended by another videographer who didn't have time for us. I could not be happier with the results. We got a high-definition video with just as high-quality audio - Randy managed wind and different people's speaking volumes so you could hear everything exactly as you'd want. Randy was extremely easy to work with, and our video gives me all the feels I had on my wedding day.

On top of it all, Randy was virtually invisible that day - he introduced himself and then got busy creating our amazing videos. The edited version of our video came super fast, too. We would recommend working with him to anyone!

We got married in Austin, TX, at what was effectively a destination wedding - more than half our guests were traveling across the country to be there. We had older relatives and friends who were pregnant or with tiny babies who were unable to be with us. The ceremony was extremely important to us, and we knew that we wanted it captured so we could watch it again and again.

If you're wondering whether it's worth it to hire a videographer and/or livestreaming for your event, I can tell you that you won't ask yourself that question once you've worked with Randy.

Randy did an absolutely amazing job livestreaming our wedding. Friends and family told us that our livestream was 'top tier' and the 'best livestream' they've ever watched. Here are a few specific plus points we'd like to point out:

1) Video and streaming quality was excellent despite the poor cell signal at our wedding venue.

2) We had 2 song items with accompanying instruments during our ceremony and he captured all the sound perfectly. He also coordinated well with our DJ; we didn't have to step in at all.

3) He captured all the key moments from the ceremony and reception, toggling between different camera angles seamlessly. Due to budget constraints we didn't get a separate videographer and it turns out we didn't need it! He was also very unobtrusive as he worked - he never got in the way or blocked anyone's view which I think requires a lot of skill and planning!

4) He was a delight to work with leading up to the wedding - customising contractual clauses to meet our preferences, and promptly responding to all our queries.

We hired Randy to livestream our wedding to some family members who were not able to attend, and it turned out perfectly!

He set up a custom web page that people could log into, and had multiple camera set up to get all the right angles. We also got a video recording of the ceremony afterwards, which we are so happy to have!

I am immensely grateful for the amazing job Randy and his team did in filming and live-streaming our wedding ceremony back in December. In having a COVID-era wedding, connection with our friends and loved ones who were unable to attend in person (including my only remaining grandparent) made having a live stream of our ceremony a priority. I'd seen a few other friends' live streams and was worried about finding someone of quality, because either the audio cut out, or the internet connecting caused their stream to end early, or the set-up was the equivalent of a tripod cam placed in the very back of the house, making it difficult to see what was happening at the front. After a friend referred Randy, I checked out his website and was delighted to find wonderful details and very transparent pricing laid out. (A true rarity!) I reached out to Randy and we had a phone consultation. He was incredibly friendly and polite, answered all of my questions (and then some), and assured me of his commitment to quality of video and audio, strong connection, and ease of access to the live stream. (Crucial for people like my technology-challenged grandmother.) We were not disappointed! Randy and his team were amazing!!! Our guests commented on how clear the audio was, how clear the image was, and just what superb overall quality everything was. Since the wedding, it's been so nice for my husband and I to go back and watch our ceremony and relive those special moments all over again. I also personally appreciated Randy's immense understanding and flexibility with the unexpected location change we had to make the week of the wedding! Randy Robinson was amazing in filming our wedding! We did both the short and long film package and if there’s anything I’d recommend future couples do for their wedding is invest in the wedding video! The short film perfectly captured our desired fun vibe of the day and we get to relive the ceremony and speeches in the long version!

I’m the type of person that hates having a camera on me and Randy was so awesome that I didn’t even realize he was there - from getting ready with bridesmaids, to capturing special in between candid moments I would 100000% book them again!

Randy is simply the best! He saved our wedding and gave us the perfect day during unusual times. Our wedding happened to fall during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic and rather than postpone, we opted to problem solve. We contacted Randy Robinson to discuss the possibility of a virtual wedding. Within minutes on the phone with him, we knew we had found someone who would allow our wedding to be a beautiful, intimate celebration shared virtually with our closest family and friends. Randy exceeded all expectations as a professional and as a person. He is as skilled as he is kind. Throughout the entire process of re-planning the wedding, he listened to our needs and put in a tremendous amount of extra effort to make sure we were comfortable with the plans. He spent a significant amount of time sorting out complicated technology logistics such as incorporating a picture in picture of my brother’s pre-recorded officiant speech into our livestream video. Following the ceremony, he helped us with a Zoom reception and contributed in about a million other ways.

If we were to do this all over again when the world has opened its doors, we would still use Randy’s services. He allowed aging family members and overseas loved ones to share in our celebration – these are people who would not have reasonably been able to attend an in-person ceremony regardless of the current situation. We had roughly 90 people attend our virtual wedding. They joined us from three continents, five countries, seven U.S. states, 30 cities, and we can’t quite sort out how many time zones. They dressed up in their wedding day finest. They drank from crystal glasses. They got to hear from one another, know one another, and ultimately know John and I even better as story after story was told. We had several guests tell us that April 25th was the most fun people had experienced in months. And we felt the same way! Thanks to Randy, this wasn’t a great wedding DESPITE a pandemic and altered plans. It was a great wedding. Period. End of story.

Having Randy Robinson Films film our most special day was a dream come true!! I have been watching wedding videos for years and none of them stood out as much as his films did! He not only filmed every single detail of our wedding but he showed up early to film the groomsmen skeet shooting early in the day! He went above and beyond!
