When you start actually planning a wedding choosing all the right details and actually pinning down what you want for your special day can be pretty overwhelming, at least for someone like me. When I first met with Laura I immediately felt at ease. She was so easy to talk to and I felt like she was asking all the right questions even about the things that I didn't even think of. She was so kind and made me feel so special. I knew that having her by my side and helping me with this day she was going to get me everything I wanted and I wouldn't have a care in the world that day other than walking down the aisle. Her main focus the entire planning process was to make sure that we had all of the details done so that when even by the rehearsal dinner, we were able to completely enjoy every moment of our special weekend. If I were to redo my entire wedding she would be the first person I call. I knew that no matter what I asked she wouldn't look at me like a crazy person. She had the most helpful team and I just couldn't have done it without her!

After seeing our wedding and looking back on the pictures we can not say thank you enough ! Through out the process I wondered a few times If I should have went with a hispanic wedding planner . It was so important for myself and my family to include that " Spanish feel" while also including my husband's american culture . Laura you are hands down a mind reader ! I know between Mike and I we didnt always make it clear what we wanted . We through out bits and pieces of ideas and things we wanted and you nailed it !
Everything looked great and turned out to be much more than what we were expecting. You tied in both of our cultures and for that I thank you . The most important thing that I want people to know is that your not just a "event coordinator" You did a little bit of everything from making signs , menus , invitations getting us last minute items before the wedding and just being that someone to turn to when things got stressful.
I cant say I remember everything from the wedding as it went by so fast but , I will say that everytime I needed you before I could even say your name poof you were there ! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts ! Mike and Venessa

When Joey and I got engaged we honestly didn’t believe we would need a wedding planner. We started our first couple months engaged getting our feet wet; looking at different vendors, and gathering information about all inclusive venues. I personally LOVE to plan events and throw parties, my mom as well, so we didn’t think a wedding planner would be necessary. However, everywhere Joey and I would go and every person we talked to couldn’t offer us exactly what we needed or wanted. To be totally transparent, Laura went above and beyond for my family, Joey, and I. My sister, maid of honor, was on a heart transplant list. With our wedding being out of town for both our families, it was pivotal that we could find someone who was willing to work with us if something were to happen to my sister. Laura and her team where the only ones who could help (not even wedding insurance, yes that is a real thing, would cover our families medical need during this season of wedding planning). At that moment, I knew Laura was more than a wedding planner, she cared and became like family to us.
From phone call check-in’s, to vendor meetings, everything was so smooth working with Laura. Laura executed our vision perfectly! Both Joey and I are detail oriented individuals and we were able to trust Laura and her team completely with our dream day. There wasn’t one thing on the day of our wedding that I would change. All of Ashton Events are professional, trendy, and innovative! Laura brought to the table ideas you can’t find on Pinterest. She is an artisan and creator!
Laura and her team helped Joey and I rest easy throughout our engagement and not sweat the small stuff. Laura wouldn’t allow us to stress and offered to take things off our plate and remind us what the big picture was. We had the time of our lives. Joey and I are 8 months married and wish every day we could do our wedding all over again because it was that much fun!! All of our friends and family still talk about how fun our wedding was. We couldn’t have done it without the amazing Laura Helm and her team.
