The planning service was a train wreck. Ashley was out on leave, I knew that and agreed to her “AVP team”. They wouldn’t share the itinerary or time line for the day. I don’t think even the photographer ended up getting it so she made her own. I told the specifically that the artists needed power for their lights to draw- my hired artists were struggling to move themselves around to find light because there was no outlet near them. I hired a bombazo band, which they stuck behind guest tables so you couldn’t see them performing. I didn’t get to do my first dance in the dress I wanted because of their poor timing. They left a $500 robe at the venue that we had to go retrieve. We paid for the decorating package, everything was organized in bins by table with photos, they didn’t abide by the photos of the table set up and BROKE THE ONE ANTIQUE LAMP I PLANNED TO KEEP (I know it was them because there were no glass pieces in the bin- only the metal parts). They said nothing. They didn’t try to give the DJ a prerecording of my friends singing until 7pm, at which point they realized that it didn’t work. They didn’t allow us time to do our private last dance- so it didn’t happen. They didn’t make sure the other vendors ate and we paid hundreds for them to eat as well. We prepaid for guests to park, made a list of names, they didn’t coordinate with the venue on that so guests ended up paying for their own parking, the venue had to refund us for the prepaid parking and then we had to individually reimburse guests on the list. My bridesmaids and family complained that the were the only stain on the night as well. Saying that they were rude, confusing and disorganized. They didn’t keep track of their own payments and kept asking for more money. For what we paid I would have expected far better.
