We couldn't have done it without them!
I'll start with this: If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, this is your sign to hire them. I am an over-planner and I can tell you now that despite the level of preparation I usually go to I know for a fact that my wedding would not have ended up half the event it turned out to be if we had not hired Artisan Rose Event Co. Tara and her team are outstanding professionals in their field and will help to guide you through your entire experience with kindness, patience, collaborative spirit, creativity and passion.
When we first met up with Tara to discuss our wedding with her we only intended on hiring her as a day-of coordinator. I'm a graphic designer and had a pretty clear vision for what I wanted out of my wedding. By the time we even thought of hiring a day-of coordinator we had already booked a few of our vendors and were pretty deep into our planning efforts, so I figured that it would be easiest to cut down costs if we only hired a planner for the day of the wedding. We sat down with her and discussed our story and our vision for our wedding for well over an hour. One of the first things that Tara told us about her event company was that she initially started this work because she truly loves love, which became incredibly evident to us as she took the time to learn about our relationship and showed her enthusiasm for our wedding plans. About ten minutes after we left the meeting, I turned to my fiancee in the car and said, "We're hiring her to work our whole wedding, right?"
I really mean it when I say that the service was well worth the money. Tara helped us to fill in the vendor gaps that we had, reaching out to her increasingly expansive local network to find the perfect photographer, florist and DJ for our wedding. We're kind of a quirky couple, so we weren't necessarily looking to make vendor hiring easy on ourselves–but Tara managed to help us make it easy.
Our wedding was initially scheduled to take place in April of 2020. No one could have anticipated that just as we were supposed to be collecting the final numbers for catering a pandemic would shut everything down. We were devastated when we had to postpone the wedding, but Tara worked with us to make sure that our transition to a new date later in the year would go smoothly. As we approached the new date it was starting to look like things might shut down again, and out of an abundance of caution we decided to shift the date once again to October 2021 instead. Despite the fact that many of the Artisan Rose couples were doing the same, they still took the time to check in with us regularly and make sure that we were doing okay. Tara was a massive help not only in ensuring that our date transition went smoothly with all of our vendors and contracts, but also was our biggest cheerleader when the wedding we were so excited about started to feel like a chore or a burden on us.
Many couples had the same idea as us and rescheduled their weddings to this October 2021 wedding season. As you can imagine, Artisan Rose Event Co. was seemingly booked to their gills with weddings throughout the entire month. Despite this, Tara still managed to make our little Thursday evening wedding (yes, Thursday) a huge success. We miraculously pulled it off against the odds with her help, and people are still telling me what a unique, beautiful wedding it was. Could I have organized my own wedding alone?
Probably. Would I have been able to have a successful wedding during a pandemic after rescheduling several times without the help of Artisan Rose? Probably not. I won't lie: I was a hot mess leading up to the wedding day. Because of them I can say that both me and my husband were able to fully enjoy our own wedding day. They made sure everything ran smoothly, and they did such a beautiful job of collaborating with me on my vision and helping me to bring our spectacular celestial themed wedding to life.
I don't think we are the only people who left our wedding feeling like it was one of the most magical evenings we had ever experienced.
Hire Artisan Rose Event Co. You will *not* regret it.
