Facilities and Capacity
Arizona Grand Resort & Spa offers 16 indoor and outdoor wedding venues to host up to 2,000 guests. You may have both your wedding ceremony and reception onsite, with garden villas, stately ballrooms, and casual cocktail hour courtyards to choose from. The Oasis Patio and Lawn are the largest outdoor venues and can be combined to accommodate over 1,000 guests for a lavish ceremony and cocktail hour. The Paseo Garden, surrounded by lush greenery and trickling fountains, is suited for more intimate celebrations. The gardens are also ideal for post-dinner mingling with a fireplace to keep guests warm through the evening. The Island Green offers spectacular views of the resort’s reflection pool and lush gardens during your cocktail hour or al fresco reception dinner. For a more formal dining experience, host your reception in the Grand Ballroom, accommodating over 1,200 guests. More intimate formal dinners can be held in the South Mountain Ballroom, featuring a private patio and seating for up to 400 guests.

Cuisine
Arizona Grand Resort & Spa offers an eclectic menu of international cuisine and southwestern favorites for every palette. You’ll be able to choose between a buffet, plated, or station with appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts included. Arizona Grand Resort & Spa also has an onsite wedding cake designer to create a beautiful centerpiece dessert.
Outside Indian catering is permitted. Please note a waiver and kitchen fee (if applicable) will be required.
Accommodations
Arizona Grand Resort & Spa has over 700 guest suites for you and your loved ones to enjoy throughout the wedding weekend. Guest suites feature flat-screen TVs, in-room WiFi, and either a private patio or balcony. You will also have access to the resort’s spa and private water park.

Fabulous Wedding!
Reception facilities were perfect as well, and they even accommodated my bride's surprise fireworks show for me!
The food for the reception was absolutely phenomenal, from the exceptional salad to the fine wine and spirits, and especially the amazing entrees. Best of all, the cake! So memorable and tasty, we ordered another small version made, post-reception.
Special thanks to AZ Grande senior catering sales manager Susan McVee, who always responded promptly to our requests, and was able to steer things back on track when issues arose, as well as Tracy Mueller and Meghan Chlanda.

The perfect Arizona Resort for a wedding!
Aside from the wonderful service, it was an absolutely beautiful venue for the ceremony and the reception. (Our ceremony was in the Paseo Gardens and the reception was in the South Mountain ballroom). Our pictures are all so beautiful thanks to the many picturesque locations around the property. Additionally, it was the perfect location for all of our out of town guests to stay for the weekend! Adults and kids alike enjoyed staying to celebrate with us all weekend long.
If you are looking for an Arizona Resort to make your wedding day perfect, the Arizona Grand is the way to go! I wish we could relive the weekend, but I know we will make many more weekend trips there in the future to reminisce our special day.
An Arizona Grand Wedding
From the beginning, we knew that having an early summer wedding outdoors in AZ was risky because of the heat, but we proceeded anyways as the day had special significance to us. As we got closer to our wedding day, it became clear that the 105 degree weather that day wasn't going to work with our plans to utilize the "Paseo" space for an outdoor ceremony. With three days to spare, the AGR team worked with us to adjust the ceremony indoors, and things seemed as if the plans had never even changed.
What stands out most about our experience in having our ceremony and reception at AGR is the details. We didn't have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, and neither of us have ever planned a wedding, so there might have been a few details we overlooked here and there, but AGR made sure to look out for those items. They made sure we had a plan for moving items from the ceremony to the reception space. They ensured our wedding party had water and food during set up. The team even provided an amazing champagne turndown service in our suite--the perfect ending touch to a perfect day.
Again, we couldn't be happier with our decision to have our wedding at the Arizona Grand Resort and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering them.

The Arizona Grand is such a beautiful place for a wedding! I cannot recommend it enough! You can photograph at any time of day and have a beautiful background for your photos. This allows you to create a relaxed wedding schedule and a stress-free experience. I highly recommend this venue, especially for summer weddings because the shade keeps everyone cool and the staff takes great care to keep your guests hydrated and cared for.
