For our wedding, we went all out. And, in our search, no facility in the Phoenix Valley matched the Arizona Grande. Organization, amenities, perks and facilities were all top notch. Family and friends were able to stay at a special rate, and we even received complimentary bridal and groom prep rooms, which helped immensely. When the weather turned sour on our special day, Arizona Grande was prepared as well, with indoor facilities. Honestly, I think it went every bit as well as it would have outside!
Reception facilities were perfect as well, and they even accommodated my bride's surprise fireworks show for me!
The food for the reception was absolutely phenomenal, from the exceptional salad to the fine wine and spirits, and especially the amazing entrees. Best of all, the cake! So memorable and tasty, we ordered another small version made, post-reception.
Special thanks to AZ Grande senior catering sales manager Susan McVee, who always responded promptly to our requests, and was able to steer things back on track when issues arose, as well as Tracy Mueller and Meghan Chlanda.
Thank you, Arizona Grande, for a wedding we will never forget! -

Absolutely beautiful wedding. I am so happy we decided to have our special day here. The villa suites we used were BEAUTIFUL, and they made our experience one to remember. Patti and Tracy exceeded our expectations, and I am so thankful we had the opportunity to work with them. Food was delicious too! -

Having our wedding at the Arizona Grand was one of the best decisions we made! The day was absolutely beautiful and perfect thanks to all of the staff there that helped make it happen. Tracy Mueller and Tracy McCoy (event coordinators) were wonderful to work with. Both ladies were helpful, responsive, and able to make my wedding vision a reality, down to every last detail. I was pretty hands on with planning, but thanks to them, I didn't need a Wedding Planner thanks to their attention to detail and help with day of coordination. The catering was delicious (and a BEAUTIFUL cake!). And all the rest of the staff did an amazing job working together to make sure that every little detail was prepared- from the bellmen to the wait staff to the front desk. It was so nice to know that we were in good hands and that all of the intricate details of our wedding day were taken care of. They also helped to make sure that we felt like a king and queen for the day! We had our own "day of shadow" to make sure we had everything we needed, down to bringing an extra dinner to our room fridge because I had too much of a nervous stomach to eat!
Aside from the wonderful service, it was an absolutely beautiful venue for the ceremony and the reception. (Our ceremony was in the Paseo Gardens and the reception was in the South Mountain ballroom). Our pictures are all so beautiful thanks to the many picturesque locations around the property. Additionally, it was the perfect location for all of our out of town guests to stay for the weekend! Adults and kids alike enjoyed staying to celebrate with us all weekend long.
If you are looking for an Arizona Resort to make your wedding day perfect, the Arizona Grand is the way to go! I wish we could relive the weekend, but I know we will make many more weekend trips there in the future to reminisce our special day. -

We are here celebrating our daughters wedding 27 years later since my husband and I had our wedding reception also here at this beautiful resort! Our out of state family and friends loved the staff, accommodation, gorgeous venue and dreamlike lazy river and resort feel. Misty McCoy our Wedding Event Coordinator made wedding weekend magical for our daughter and new husband. Maybe in a few years our youngest would be so lucky to enjoy a Grand Wedding! We worked initially with Jodi Michaelis who answered every question to secure our venue and set the wedding weekend events. From Rehearsal dinner at their nearby western restaurant called Rustlers Rooste to my daughters stunning reception venue in the Las Palmas room where Misty paid close attention to all our wishes and requests, to the absolutely stunning outside sunny morning newlywed family brunch at the Paseo Gardens , we showed our guests how much we loved celebrating with them! I wish I could show you pictures of our daughters Arizona Grand Wedding weekend. -
Justin Sent on 02/09/2018My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the Arizona Grand Resort in June 2017, and we couldn't have asked for anything more--everything was so perfect. From our initial visit to the supportive team of Events/Catering staff, from our tasting to our resort stay, we were continuously floored by how easy everything was. Anytime we had any questions or concerns, the two managers we were working with, Misty and Dora, were there to immediately give us answers and provide help that went above and beyond our expectations.
From the beginning, we knew that having an early summer wedding outdoors in AZ was risky because of the heat, but we proceeded anyways as the day had special significance to us. As we got closer to our wedding day, it became clear that the 105 degree weather that day wasn't going to work with our plans to utilize the "Paseo" space for an outdoor ceremony. With three days to spare, the AGR team worked with us to adjust the ceremony indoors, and things seemed as if the plans had never even changed.
What stands out most about our experience in having our ceremony and reception at AGR is the details. We didn't have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, and neither of us have ever planned a wedding, so there might have been a few details we overlooked here and there, but AGR made sure to look out for those items. They made sure we had a plan for moving items from the ceremony to the reception space. They ensured our wedding party had water and food during set up. The team even provided an amazing champagne turndown service in our suite--the perfect ending touch to a perfect day.
Again, we couldn't be happier with our decision to have our wedding at the Arizona Grand Resort and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering them. -

Jordan Sent on 06/30/2015My husband and I got married at the Arizona Grand Resort on June 12. We had the ceremony on the Golf Island Green and the cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom. It was amazing! It was honestly the most perfect day - we just wished it would've lasted longer.
We worked with Genia and she was fantastic. She was always timely with emails and was so on top of everything. She is great with all of the little details.
The venue is beautiful. Our pictures were amazing because there are many beautiful spots and backgrounds there. The food was delicious and everyone at the resort was so helpful. We loved too that guests could stay at the resort.
We are so glad we got married here and can't wait to visit next year on our anniversary.
I highly, highly recommend this venue for your ceremony and reception!

So to be clear, we held the actual wedding off site. However, we had a 40+ room block st the resort, and then held the pre wedding cocktail party, the after party at the bar, and a brunch the next morning for departing guests. Everything at the Grand was exceptional. The guests loved the resort, the cocktail party was magical, and the bloody Mary's at the brunch were helpful ☺️. I would highly recommend the Arizona Grand for big events. -

Our original wedding date was in April and the planning experience leading up to that date was probably 8/10 but after having to postpone and working with the new coordinator (Kerry) we’d change our rating to 9.5/10! We loved having our wedding at the resort because many of our guests were coming from out of town - they had a place to stay, a water park/golf course to use, and close to other things to do in Phoenix. We were originally going to have our reception inside but after re-evaluating with COVID, Kerry and the venue staff were very accommodating in making our event work outside. Kerry is wonderful and we appreciated that she took the time to really understand what we wanted to prevent any misunderstandings. Our event went smoothly with only a few minor hiccups that were easily addressed. The only bummer is that since it is a resort, the price for appetizers, dinner and drinks are tough to swallow. However, we were still thrilled with our overall planning and wedding experience. I would definitely recommend this venue to others if it falls within your price range! -

Excellent Wedding Experience
Fresh bakery on site. Grounds are immaculate and beautiful. Food is excellent very professional team. Lots of staff to help
Many things to do there. Our wedding was a weekend long of great memories. They even kept the bar open after wedding for us. Rooms were very nice. Villa was gorgeous. Our guest raved about their experience. Truly a stay-vacation and 8 minutes from the airport. No one rented a car. I can’t say enough about Tracey and her team. Thank you for our beautiful wedding and experience! Everything went without a hitch. You are the BEST! -

October wedding
Our wedding was October 19, 2018 at Arizona grand and Missy and Tracy were absolutely exceptional with the planning and execution of our big day! As the bride, I felt like I didn’t have to worry about a thing and just have fun and enjoy my day. The venue was beautiful, they took care of every detail, and our guest had a blast. Highly recommend Arizona Grand for your wedding! -

Ann Sent on 01/04/2018We held my daughter’s wedding over New Years Eve 2017/18 at AGR. Misty and Tracy were an unbelievable team in helping to make the weekend a success. The coordination and professionalism they put into this event along with the service from all of the staff was unmatched. I cannot say enough positive things about them. They remained flexible and helpful throughout the entire time our guests stayed. They were a great team and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. All of our relatives who traveled to be with us only had positive things to say

We got married 11/11/18 and our wedding day was beautiful! The day began a little on the late side before the ceremony but everyone was very accommodating to us and made sure everything went by smoothly. The planning prior to our special day didn’t start out exactly the way we had liked. There was a lot of miscommunication and confusion on our part being told multiple things from different coordinators. Once all of that was said and done, our day of coordinator, Misty, had gone above and beyond with my stepmom to make sure our day was amazing. We had guests complimenting on how gorgeous the venue is and how great the food was! The overall vibe of Las Palmas was exactly what we had wanted. It was dreamy and such a magical day. We can’t thank the Arizona Grand team enough for helping us celebrate our big day!
