When it came time to find an engagement ring, I had a very specific idea of what I wanted, including a diamond that had been passed down through the family. We met with Scott at Ari first and then visited several other custom Jewelers in Portland before returning to Ari. He was by far the most patient and transparent of everyone we talked to. Most couldn't even give us specific pricing details while Scott broke down everything line by line and helped us plan something that matched my vision but was within our budget. We ended up with a beautiful and unique Platinum ring that appraised for more than we paid for it and cost 50% less than what some other stores were estimating.

This is a wonderful family run business. I happily plan to make Ari Diamonds my long-term jeweler.

My boyfriend and I worked with Ari diamonds to custom create my perfect engagement ring. From start to finish Scott from Ari Diamonds listened and was very patient with me as I changed my mind multiple times, unsure of what I wanted. He even re-made the ring for free when the ring I thought I wanted didn't turn out the way I pictured it in my mind. He worked with us until the ring was exactly what I pictured. It is beautiful and we couldn't be more happy with the quality of the ring and the customer service we got working with Ari Diamonds.

Great jeweler, This is not any jewelry store. They create art, we are so pleased with this family owned business. My advice to everyone is to at least check them out, they are not your normal suit and tie operation. I felt as though they wanted me there and they actually listen to what I had to say. They are not Tiffany prices, but not cheap either. I gave them 5 stars on value because it was worth it. You will walk in to the store and probably be greeted with a guy that has dirty hands, found out later he actually works on all the jewelry. In my opinion I'll take that any day. Imagine that it's not made in china or some child labor out of country. He is an Oregonian and loves his business. Very refreshing.

My husband and I, with the help of the jeweler, designed my engagement ring EXACTLY as we wanted it. Their design program is amazing, and they are very responsive to your desires. The ring turned out beautifully, and we were happy with their service.

I knew that I didn't want a traditional wedding ring, but was struggling to find an affordable jeweler who could create a ring using stones from a ring that belonged to my grandmother. Within ten minutes of walking into Ari, Scott (the owner) had listened to what I wanted, looked at my grandmother's ring, and had sketched out a unique and beautiful design that I fell in love with immediately. Overall, I love my ring and get compliments on it all the time. The only reason for the lower rating is that I was very surprised and a bit disappointed when I took my ring in for its annual cleaning and saw that he is now selling rings in the shop that are the same design as what had been my original design. It hadn't crossed my mind to have any sort of contract saying that he couldn't use the design again, but I would have appreciated him asking or at least letting me know. Despite this disappointment, he does do beautiful work.
