Ara was a wonderful choice to photograph our elopement wedding. From the first call, to our wedding day and beyond, she was attentive and communicative. She was open to our input for ideas, and gave suggestions throughout to make our day seamless and memorable. She really puts her heart into the whole experience, and we are so happy with our photos!

Working with Ara was awesome. She was extremely competent, friendly, and had lots of initiative when it came to photo locations, styles and ideas (which we definitely needed). We did an engagement shoot outside (in a forest), our wedding in a room with giant windows and buckets of natural light, and then a bunch of photos outside on the mountainside - and Ara handled all of it no problem; the photos all came out great. She has an eye for fun and creative photos and and is good at making you forget she is there when it's photo time.
Overall, it was a great experience. 10/10 would recommend!

I am so happy that Ara photographed our elopement. I was captivated by her portfolio from the beginning—she had the exact vibe and style we were going for on our big day. From our first chat, she was so personable and helpful with location scouting and logistics. We had an unexpected change in our location and I'm so grateful she was able to accommodate and still shoot for us.

Beyond the quality of her art and photos which speak for themselves, what really impressed me was how organized and helpful she was in coordinating our day. Ara was our photographer for an intimate elopement ceremony on the Oregon coast. When searching for a photographer, my husband and I found Ara's profile on Instagram. Her ability to capture such stunning angles instantly blew us away. We wanted a photographer experienced with elopement ceremonies in the Pacific Northwest, and her photos depicted just that. When chatting with Ara, she knew exactly what we wanted, which surprised me because I was still figuring it out myself. She even recommended a few spots for our special day, which we ended up selecting for our location. My gut told me to trust her, and we are so glad we did! As two people who are often more introverted than extroverted, we wanted someone with a larger-than-life personality to break us out of our comfort zone and capture our once-in-a-lifetime moment. Ara did precisely that. The photos brought tears to our eyes. We couldn't be happier that we chose Ara to be with us on our special day.

We've only been to a handful of weddings, only enough to really know what we didn't want to have for our own wedding. Ara was such a blessing in that she understood our big-scene apprehensions instantly, offering logistical support, reassurance, and a plethora of ideas that fit perfectly with who we are.

I honestly don't have the words to express how pleased we are with Aralani Photography's final product. The lighting was brilliant on our wedding day and Ara used it expertly to produce shots so picturesque we can't stop looking at them. We really appreciated the online gallery that allowed us to view and download high-resolution photos and were equally thrilled that she is taking the time to send us a flash drive of the photos in the mail.

I want to preface this by saying if I could give Ara 1000/10, I would! I have been following her work since 2008 and I have always been attracted to her unique and breathtaking perspectives through her camera lens. She was EVERYTHING I wanted and more in a wedding photographer. She made me and my wife feel beautiful, supported, and cared for on our big day. Words could not express how overjoyed I am that we decided to elope in Oregon with the help of Ara. From looking at the photos on her website to the first ten minutes of our first phone call, we knew Ara would be the best person to capture our wedding day. Perhaps without realizing it, she generated a ton of excitement in my then-fiance to actually go through with the elopement plan. We bonded over Star Wars, and the rest was a breeze! She helped us narrow down what locations would best capture the experience we were looking for, gave advice for places to hike while in town, and recommended some amazing officiants and hair/make-up vendors. On the day of Ara was a delight to work with. She gave simple instructions to help us experience the moment, but still allowed her to take amazing photographs. My husband and I got to have a romantic, cute, cuddly day, with absolutely no stress, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Now, the pictures we received from Ara help us cherish these moments that were so elegantly captured in her photography. From butterfly kisses and skipping through fields, to wildflower picking and mild rock climbing, if you want an adventurous elopement Ara is the one!

Ara was everything; I mean everything for our wedding day. We don't have the professional pictures yet, but I don't need them just yet to give her a 5 star review (will update when I get them). But I wanted to praise her now as our wedding was less than a week ago! During her calls prior to our wedding she really grasped on exactly what we were looking for and on the day of the wedding she made them happen. She was very organized with getting things together; It didn't matter what time of the day it was or what everyone was doing, if she saw something we were looking for she stopped everything and captured that moment. She's brilliant. So happy we chose her. Also, she is EASILY loved by all of our family! Cant thank you enough for making our day what it was!

I recommend Aralani Photography with the highest of confidence you will LOVE her photos! Ara was professional from the contract to the day of the wedding to the follow up delivery of the priceless photos! Ara not only has an extremely creative eye, but is a positive, flexible ray of sunshine! Our daughter’s wedding was on the weekend of the fires and evacuation notices in September, so the day really could not have been more stressful! But you would never know it! The photos reveal a day that was a reflection of heaven!
