Anthony Cubbage is a guitarist, pianist, and singer-songwriter in Troy, New York with over a decade of professional performance and contracted songwriting and film score experience. From an acoustic rendition of your favorite song down the aisle to some soft instrumental piano music at cocktail hour and dinner, his emotional vocals and delicate playing are atmospheric. Cubbage breathes life into some of the most special and intimate moments couples have during their wedding days and engagements as well.

Personalized Songwriting

Anthony also writes (and professionally records) personalized songs for couples. If you can't find the right song for your first dance or for down the aisle, he'll work with you to make that vision a reality, taking the time to learn about the two of you as a couple, your unique history together, and crafting a song that pulls together all of those experiences and the love that embodies them into something you can listen back to and hold onto forever. Song can even be released on Spotify and Apple Music on your wedding day, to be easily shared and listened to with family and friends.

He went above and beyond expectations

Anthony was by FAR one of the best parts of our wedding day. Leading up to it, he was the most involved and responsive vendor I had. He was accommodating, flexible, and more than generous with his time and efforts. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was organized and perfect for us. He has the voice of an angel and we got comments all night about how wonderful he was. He customized 4 different songs for us for first dances and the ceremony and hearing them brought tears to my eyes. Words don’t even do his talent justice. We absolutely loved him!!!

Absolutely incredible!

We hired Anthony for our ceremony and cocktail style reception and he exceeded our expectations! Anthony is so kind and so easy to work with. He provided us samples of songs we had selected and a few that we needed help deciding on for our first dance. We received so many compliments from guests on how amazing his voice and guitar playing was! We weren’t planning on having any dancing during our reception outside of our first dance, but Anthony was so good that many guests were dancing at many points throughout the reception. If you need a musician for a small and relaxed wedding Anthony is 100% the person you should hire!!

Absolutely Amazing!

As soon as I got engaged, I immediately started seeking a musician because music and ambience is so important to me. I listened to so many different options and was thrilled when I found Anthony. His voice, style and entire package was exactly what I was looking for and I will be forever grateful that he was a part of the most special day of my life and truly made it perfect. I remember just stopping and taking a moment during my wedding reception to just watch and listen to his performance and felt so incredibly lucky that he was singing at my wedding. His piano and guitar skills are incredible and his voice is beautiful. He is so incredibly talented. All night, my guests kept coming up to me to tell me how amazing he was and I felt so proud that everyone could enjoy the experience. Working with Anthony was so easy and positive. Planning a wedding is so stressful but Anthony being so accommodating, patient, helpful, attentive and calming made it much less stressful for me. Anthony is not only amazing and talented but he is a kind and genuine person and working with him was an absolutely wonderful experience. You can tell he puts his heart into his work and cares about the people he is working with. I will be forever grateful for him making my wedding absolutely perfect. Anthony, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Anthony is amazing!

We are so happy with how everything turned out with Anthony. We hired him for our ceremony, and he did not disappointed. Anthony is easy to work with and so communicative. We enjoyed talking with him for every single one of our meetings. He is so down to earth and easy to talk to. Anthony was flexible with what we wanted, and handled everything flawlessly. We paid other vendors thousands of dollars, and to be honest, Anthony was the best vendor we worked with. Not to mention his beautiful singing voice. He made our ceremony perfect!! Can't thank him enough.

Anthony wrote OUR love song

If you have the chance to splurge on anything, and on the fence about what, I'd say it's either food, or getting Anthony to write your "forever song".

Anthony took the time to really get to know us, and learn about our love story. And it was amazing to see it become transformed into music within a few weeks. We had him play the song live for our first dance, and now every time we get the chance to listen to it, it's like we're transported back to that exact moment. We just reached our 1st Anniversary on the 12th and so we threw the song on our home speaker system and danced to this in the living room - it was pure bliss.

I'd honestly spend more for this than a video package, but Anthony's pricing was super reasonable after we saw what went into the whole process. I can really see this becoming a more popular thing in the future, so I'd say get him to do it now while it's cheaper!

Wedding Band

Anthony Cubbage and his bands
performance was beyond our expectations. He did our ceremony and reception. They took the time to really understand our style of music to setup the perfect set list. They were all so nice and easy to talk to. Throughout our entire preparation process, Anthony was very responsive and was easily available to chat whenever we needed to. Anthony and his band even went out of their way to learn songs on their break that our guests were requesting, and they played them perfectly. Their style and twist on covering songs we requested made for such a unique, danceable and great time! They really understood how to set different moods throughout the night. We definitely recommend Anthony Cubbage and his band for your wedding. We are extremely happy with the memories Anthony and his band helped us create!

He'll write the soundtrack of your love story.

If you're looking to add something truly unique, emotional and memorable to your wedding day, look no further. Anthony is one of the most talented songwriters I've ever heard, and his ability to feel, empathize, and tell stories comes together in perfect harmony through his music. It's not often you find somebody who has all the components to take a musician from great to one of a kind, but Anthony is absolutely that person. I wrote my vows and shared my first dance to a song that he wrote for me and my wife. We eloped on the black sand beach of Iceland, and brought a portable speaker so we could have this dance. Have you ever heard a song at the perfect moment and it feels like it could be included in the soundtrack to your life? Anthony will write that song for you, to pair with one of the most incredible moments of your life, and each time you listen to it again or it comes on shuffle, it'll take you right back to the moments you hold dear like an intimate journal entry only you and your spouse could ever truly feel. If you're even on the fence, don't hesitate to reach out. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Crushed cocktail hour

Cubbage was kind enough to perform during the happy hour at my wedding in May 2021… He was an absolute hit! He was so easy to work with and his set up/breakdown was seamless. He played a variety of amazing acoustic songs which the crowd loved. He is so talented, we try to go out and see him whenever he’s playing at local venues around the area. I would absolutely recommend him to play at a wedding or any sort of private event!
