Angela, owner of Anji Monique Photography, is a Wandering Wedding Photographer and self proclaimed Love Story Junkie and mother of four children she fondly calls her Flying Monkeys. She's located out of SW Michigan and Florida, with branches in Texas and Georgia--although she's passport ready and willing to travel anywhere your Love Story will take her!
Her approach to weddings is a fusion of Lifestyle where your wedding is caught with as little directing as possible; and Posed where she sets up a shot, such as the formal portraits, for the most flattering lighting and angles. She is proficient in both natural or ambient light and flash photography and enjoys using creative lighting situations to bring out the subjects in her imagery. She hand edits all of her own images and turn-around is typically within 4 to 6 weeks.
In addition to Angela, her Wedding Team includes a dedicated assistant and a second professional photographer. Her assistant works closely with her and the bride to help make the day more enjoyable and relaxed and frees up the second photographer to work independently and in conjunction with Angela.

Holly Married on 08/22/2019Best Decision of our Wedding
Hiring Anji Monique Photography for our destination wedding in Jamaica was probably our best decision out of everything for our entire wedding!! I met Anji from a local FB bridal page when I posted asking for a photographer would like to fly away to Jamaica with us.. I ended up having over 200 comments which was crazy! I went through every fb page, Instagram page, website, etc trying to find the right fit for what we were looking for and Anji and her husband Andrew were the perfect match!! We were blown away at how effortless she made taking the photos feel and our photos that we have had a glimpse of so far are breath taking! My husband wasn’t on board at first with paying that much for someone to take photos, but after seeing even the unedited previews on her camera he was quick to say that they were worth every penny plus some! I cannot wait to see the rest of our photos and video as I’m sure they will be just as amazing as the ones we have seen so far! 📷 -

User2948086 2+ years agoAnji is absolutely amazing!! The entire experience from our first phone call was perfect! She really gets to know you as a couple in order to capture your unique personalities, and she puts you at ease throughout the planning and the big day. She works meticulously to make sure she gets all of the shots you want, and she has an amazing eye for capturing those special candid moments. Her photos are breathtaking, and she works very quickly to get them back to you. She even send your photos in an adorable little package! :) I could not be happier!
