Angela Nelson Photography is amazing!!! We found her on Instagram because we wanted epic elopement photos on Haleakalā, and she absolutely delivered. Angie was fun, professional, insanely talented, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. When we had to reschedule due to weather, she was incredibly accommodating and flexible. She returned our full gallery in just 9 days and kept us excited with sneak peeks in the meantime. We are obsessed with our photos and can’t recommend her enough!

Angela was so amazing!! We're from South Florida and planned everything through emails and phone calls. I stumbled upon Angela's work one day when I got myself into a rabbit hole searching the Hawaiian islands for our small destination wedding. After months of searching for venues and wedding planners, I ended up finding looking at photos. Once I saw Angela's work, I knew that's what I wanted our moments to look like. Angela was our first wedding decision - before everything else. Angela gave us some great vendor referrals and actually helped us plan our entire 5 hour timeline with locations and activities for each stop. We started at the beach for our first look and ended on the cloudy mountain top for our ceremony. Our experience with Angela was wonderful! She is so personable and down to earth and an obvious genius in her craft. Many times we didn't even see her, so don't worry about the obtrusiveness of a camera in the midst of all your action. When I look at our pictures, I don't even remember seeing her anywhere near us. Angela is simply - REMARKABLE!

When I met Angie for the first time, she told me that you end up spending the majority of the day with your photographer, which was true, and we really enjoyed hanging out with Angie and Amber, who are so open and sweet. Angie is the absolute BEST! We knew she was it and we chose a package with her that would have her come out to Seattle for our fun wedding. Anything we suggested on where to take photos, she rolled with it and we got some INCREDIBLE shots! From Washington beach shots to a troll to a Ferry ride wedding to along the waterfront to our favorite pub, she captured it all beautifully and we our so happy with our choice to have HER be our photographer. She was a blast and we have outside perspective of our memories to forever commemorate.

Angie did an exceptional job as our wedding photographer. Her work is artistic, showcasing our beautiful wedding and creating memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. She was the first vendor that we hired since we were so amazed by the vivid colors in her portfolio and attention to detail. It was clear from our first meeting that we had found a superb photographer and a real professional.

She went above and beyond for all aspects of her work. We had meetings with her by Zoom and she was integral in planning several important details of our big day. Her list of preferred vendors was top notch. She even helped me with my French bustle during the wedding reception. She worked very well with our video crew and made us feel like all angles of the wedding were covered.

She captured all of the wedding reception, special portraits of us with our loved ones, the cocktail hour, sunset bride and groom photos, and we booked time with her for a bonus trash the dress session on the North Shore of Maui. During our North Shore shoot, she took the most gorgeous pictures of us on the beach and in the water just before sunset. She knew exactly where to take us to get exceptional photos.

Afterwards, we had a scheduled "Date Night" with her to view our photos and design our wedding album. The photos were absolutely gorgeous. She provided a link to share them with friends and family. We ordered a 60 photo album so that we have a treasured heirloom to relive our big day time and time again.

She is truly an expert at her craft and helped to make our big day very special! She is without a doubt the best photographer that I have ever met. She has our highest recommendation.

Hiring an amazing wedding photographer was on the top of the list for our wedding. I planned a destination wedding and wasn’t sure where to even start. I took all of the names that had been given to me from other vendors and started looking at their websites and instagram photos. I knew it was important to us that the beauty of this destination we had chosen would be captured. I googled what questions to ask your photographer. As I interviewed the top 3 I’d chosen, learned more about my personal preference of photography than I ever knew I would.
Angie is the best of the best. She met with us when we arrived on Maui to get to know us and discuss our must have shots. She took time to show us the breathtaking printed albums she creates from the big day. Angie offers different packages for your needs and is very flexible if you decide you need more time added.
Angie and her assistant, Amber, captured every single important moment for us to be able to relive one of the most important days of our life. Not to mention, it felt like we were with friends and there weren’t any awkward moments. The morning after, she sent a couple of teaser photos… and WOW! I could go on and on about all of the great shots captured, but I’ll just let them speak for themselves. Once the photos are ready for viewing, Angie schedules a virtual date night to view them. She prepares you to be undistracted and have snacks and drinks available during the creation your album with her (scheduled for 2 hours). What she doesn’t tell you is that you’ll need a box of tissues too. The first time I saw our day captured perfectly, it brought tears to my eyes. Sitting there with my now husband, we were able to bring back all of the feelings from the day of and see what all of our guests were seeing while we were enjoying ourselves.
We are so pleased with the printed album we created and have shown numerous friends and family whose breath is taken away. Not to mention all of the prints available for order from our virtual link. The only difficulty we’ve encountered is deciding what amazing shots to print!
