Angela Nelson Photography is amazing!!! We found her on Instagram because we wanted epic elopement photos on Haleakalā, and she absolutely delivered. Angie was fun, professional, insanely talented, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. When we had to reschedule due to weather, she was incredibly accommodating and flexible. She returned our full gallery in just 9 days and kept us excited with sneak peeks in the meantime. We are obsessed with our photos and can’t recommend her enough! -

Angela was so amazing!! We're from South Florida and planned everything through emails and phone calls. I stumbled upon Angela's work one day when I got myself into a rabbit hole searching the Hawaiian islands for our small destination wedding. After months of searching for venues and wedding planners, I ended up finding looking at photos. Once I saw Angela's work, I knew that's what I wanted our moments to look like. Angela was our first wedding decision - before everything else. Angela gave us some great vendor referrals and actually helped us plan our entire 5 hour timeline with locations and activities for each stop. We started at the beach for our first look and ended on the cloudy mountain top for our ceremony. Our experience with Angela was wonderful! She is so personable and down to earth and an obvious genius in her craft. Many times we didn't even see her, so don't worry about the obtrusiveness of a camera in the midst of all your action. When I look at our pictures, I don't even remember seeing her anywhere near us. Angela is simply - REMARKABLE! -

Angie is so incredibly talented and cool!
From the minute I came across Angela’s website, I knew her style was exactly what I wanted – she doesn’t just take beautiful pictures, she captures feelings in a way that tells a story and works with the elements so beautifully. She’s an artist with her camera, props, and eye for the lighting and landscape. Watching her do her thing was super fun, and even more fun to see how amazing the pictures came out – you can tell that she’s spent years perfecting her craft and still finds joy in it.
When I met Angie for the first time, she told me that you end up spending the majority of the day with your photographer, which was true, and we really enjoyed hanging out with Angie and Amber, who are so open and sweet. The way Angie looks at life as art and sees every opportunity to make memories is so inspiring and something I aspire to bring into my life.
We loved and would recommend doing the sweetheart session before the wedding to practice poses and of course spend more time with Angie!
Our pictures captured the magic of the day for us and how magical the island of Maui is, which is exactly what we wanted. I've never been more excited to share pictures.. and everyone I know wishes they had their wedding in Hawaii :)

Angie is the absolute BEST! We knew she was it and we chose a package with her that would have her come out to Seattle for our fun wedding. Anything we suggested on where to take photos, she rolled with it and we got some INCREDIBLE shots! From Washington beach shots to a troll to a Ferry ride wedding to along the waterfront to our favorite pub, she captured it all beautifully and we our so happy with our choice to have HER be our photographer. She was a blast and we have outside perspective of our memories to forever commemorate.
If I could give her a million star rating, I would. You will NOT regret booking her as your photographer! -

Angie did an exceptional job as our wedding photographer. Her work is artistic, showcasing our beautiful wedding and creating memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. She was the first vendor that we hired since we were so amazed by the vivid colors in her portfolio and attention to detail. It was clear from our first meeting that we had found a superb photographer and a real professional.
She went above and beyond for all aspects of her work. We had meetings with her by Zoom and she was integral in planning several important details of our big day. Her list of preferred vendors was top notch. She even helped me with my French bustle during the wedding reception. She worked very well with our video crew and made us feel like all angles of the wedding were covered.
She captured all of the wedding reception, special portraits of us with our loved ones, the cocktail hour, sunset bride and groom photos, and we booked time with her for a bonus trash the dress session on the North Shore of Maui. During our North Shore shoot, she took the most gorgeous pictures of us on the beach and in the water just before sunset. She knew exactly where to take us to get exceptional photos.
Afterwards, we had a scheduled "Date Night" with her to view our photos and design our wedding album. The photos were absolutely gorgeous. She provided a link to share them with friends and family. We ordered a 60 photo album so that we have a treasured heirloom to relive our big day time and time again.
She is truly an expert at her craft and helped to make our big day very special! She is without a doubt the best photographer that I have ever met. She has our highest recommendation. -

The Best of the Best
Hiring an amazing wedding photographer was on the top of the list for our wedding. I planned a destination wedding and wasn’t sure where to even start. I took all of the names that had been given to me from other vendors and started looking at their websites and instagram photos. I knew it was important to us that the beauty of this destination we had chosen would be captured. I googled what questions to ask your photographer. As I interviewed the top 3 I’d chosen, learned more about my personal preference of photography than I ever knew I would.
Angie is the best of the best. She met with us when we arrived on Maui to get to know us and discuss our must have shots. She took time to show us the breathtaking printed albums she creates from the big day. Angie offers different packages for your needs and is very flexible if you decide you need more time added.
Angie and her assistant, Amber, captured every single important moment for us to be able to relive one of the most important days of our life. Not to mention, it felt like we were with friends and there weren’t any awkward moments. The morning after, she sent a couple of teaser photos… and WOW! I could go on and on about all of the great shots captured, but I’ll just let them speak for themselves. Once the photos are ready for viewing, Angie schedules a virtual date night to view them. She prepares you to be undistracted and have snacks and drinks available during the creation your album with her (scheduled for 2 hours). What she doesn’t tell you is that you’ll need a box of tissues too. The first time I saw our day captured perfectly, it brought tears to my eyes. Sitting there with my now husband, we were able to bring back all of the feelings from the day of and see what all of our guests were seeing while we were enjoying ourselves.
We are so pleased with the printed album we created and have shown numerous friends and family whose breath is taken away. Not to mention all of the prints available for order from our virtual link. The only difficulty we’ve encountered is deciding what amazing shots to print! -

Choosing a wedding photographer was one of the most important decisions for me and my husband, as we wanted someone who could truly capture the essence of who we are as a couple. From the very first conversation, we knew we had found the perfect fit with Angie Nelson. Her warm demeanor, unique perspective, and natural style made us confident that she would not only capture beautiful moments but also be a wonderful addition to our wedding day – we were not wrong.
Angie’s presence on our wedding day was both calming and joyful. She blended in seamlessly, capturing candid moments that truly reflect our personalities and the essence of our celebration. Her photos are not just images - they are memories filled with emotion and life (she took Disney-inspired photos of us after realizing we were Disney adults!). We couldn't be happier with the results and would enthusiastically recommend her for any occasion.

The BEST elopement photographer!
We had the most incredible experience using Angela as our elopement photographer, so much so that I have delayed writing this review, fearful that it would feel like closing the chapter on the best day of my life. My husband and I eloped together in Maui in January of this year, just the two of us. Elopements just like weddings sit on a spectrum and while our vision was unconventional to many, but I felt a connection and knew I trusted her after our initial zoom. She helped to curate an itinerary that felt intentional with some adventure, and thereafter captured every moment perfectly, big and small. She bore the responsibility of not only guiding us through our itinerary, but also was the only other person there start to finish.
She is a professional, a true expert in her craft, and knowledgeable about all things Maui. While those things were important and expected, what I didn’t anticipate is that she felt like friend to me, filling in the gaps of what a loved one would do for a bride: zipping up my dress, smoothing out my back fat, and thereafter repairing the dress 100x once the clasp broke, bringing a tablecloth for our burger lunch date, going out of her way to arrange a surprise my mom inquired about, keeping her own husband on standby for whatever was needed, lending the own hat off of her head to my husband on Haleakala… I could go on and on. She belongs behind a camera, no doubt about it; however at the end of our day and still when I flip through our wedding photos, I feel her friendly, cheerleader presence and selfishly wish she was on the other side of the camera for some of these moments, too.
We received our sneak peaks within a few hours, a blog post with more photos on Valentine’s Day which was the BEST unexpected surprise, and then our gallery within a month which we received over a zoom date. I am so grateful she places so much emphasis on the physical preservation of these memories, which was admittedly an afterthought for me. I fell so in love with our photos, we upgraded our album to include double the pages we initially planned for and added wall art. Through that experience I was able to witness her eye for design, is there anything she can’t do?
I know this review isn’t the end of our relationship with her, I will travel to wherever she is to document our future moments but I am manifesting that our paths cross again on that magical island for a maternity or family shoot that includes Tristan lobster tails from Mamas -

Above & Beyond In Every Possible Way!!!
After 10 years together, my (now) husband & I set our sights on a Maui elopement. We envisioned our day as intimate, low-key, & immersed in nature. After extensively searching online, we were blown away by both Angie’s work & by her reviews!
Angie not only served as our photographer but impromptu wedding planner. The Maui wildfire crisis enfolded just 72 hours before our flight. Despite the absolute devastation occurring locally & personally, Angie was incredibly communicative & supportive. She went ABOVE & BEYOND her role as photographer & ultimately assisted us in pivoting our entire wedding to Kauai!
When we received our photos- we were again absolutely stunned!! Angie captured us so authentically & so beautifully! We feel SO fortunate to have had her share her talents with us. We will forever cherish our special day with these photos! If you are looking for someone with incredible talent & who will exceed every expectation in every way —Angie Nelson is it!! -

Angie Nelson- AMAZING Wedding Photographer
Angie was our wedding photographer in August 2023. We originally were supposed to get married in Maui but pivoted to Kauai three days before our wedding because of the wildfires. Angie redid our whole itinerary in 24 hours and made the day SO special for us. We are so thankful to Angie for the time and commitment she put into helping us pivot our wedding last minute. Our wedding photos turned out SO beautiful and we had a blast with Angie on our wedding day! -

I am so thankful for hiring Angie for so many reasons. First off she is an amazing photographer that was able to capture our beauty combined with the beauty of the island around us. Our photos ended up turning out as stunning as many of her examples online which was impressive considering the conditions of our shoot were not ideal.
It was not just her impressive photographic art though, she was also instrumental in just about every element of our wedding. She was actually the very first person we officially hired and it was through working with Angie that we hired our wedding coordinator. Angie also helped us to not only pick our venue but also pick the specific location for our ceremony. Imagine our surprise when we showed up to our location and there were flowers spread out down our aisle and they looked amazing. I found out later that Angie called our coordinator and asked if we wanted some orchids that had accidentally been left in a hot car too long. Those were the flowers laid down in our aisle! As well Angie had been part of the emergency planning conference that happened before we arrived where everyone pulled together to find a new officiant due to the road closures and our original guy having to cancel.
Working with Angie was an absolute pleasure. She helped our wedding go beautifully and she captured it all with style and grace. We highly recommend her!

I truly believe that passion, creativity, and talent are the winning combination for a successful photographer, and Angela Nelson has all three in spades! When my partner and I hired Angela to photograph our wedding, we knew we were in good hands. But little did we know just how amazing the experience would be.
From the moment we met Angela, we knew we had found someone special. Her enthusiasm and energy were infectious, and she immediately put us at ease. And when it came to the actual photography, Angela's skills were truly remarkable. She knew exactly how to capture the best moments, and her attention to detail was impressive.
But what really blew us away was Angela's willingness to go above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. We had jokingly mentioned that we'd love to have a rainbow in our photos, and Angela actually went out into the bushes to try and catch one for us! We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Angie. We first connected with her in 2018 on a wedding planning trip on Maui for an initial consultation meeting, and we instantly clicked. She is very professional, organized, and answered our many questions easily. But she is also so kind, friendly, and FUN. It was like we immediately became friends. We booked her right away to fit in an engagement shoot with her on our trip. This reinforced that we made the right decision. We had so much fun on this photoshoot - it was filled with genuine smiles and laughter - and when we saw the photos, we were in awe. They were stunning!
Our wedding was postponed twice due to COVID-19 and Angie held our hand and supported us through the two postponements. When it finally came time for our wedding in Oct 2022, we met with Angie a few days before on Maui to talk about the day's itinerary, the special guests we wanted photos with, etc. She completely understood what we were hoping for and made some great suggestions.
By the time the wedding came around, we had known Angie for 4.5 years of wedding planning! She was incredibly supportive on the day of the wedding. She checked in on my husband and I while we were getting ready, helped us stay on track with the flow of the day/evening, and even stepped in to help with the zipper on a bridesmaid's dress.
My husband and I felt so comfortable with her which meant she was able to capture the true essence of "us" - exactly what we were hoping for on this special day. Our bridal party and guests also commented on how awesome she is!
We loved getting to see a couple of sneak peek photos a couple of days after the wedding. Again - our jaws dropped!!
During our reception, Angie stole us away from the dance floor for just a couple of minutes to get a photo of us with the starry night sky. The photo is absolutely incredible - it looks like a piece of art.
She turned our photos around so quickly, and she made our "date night" experience really fun. We met on Zoom to look through all the photos, and then make decisions on our album (which was included in our package) and wall art. It was tough decisions, but she was so patient and understanding and showed us multiple options.
Angie is truly a gem in every sense of the word - solid (she is so reliable, we knew we could always count on her), unique (the way she captures emotions, colours, different perspectives is out of this world), and genuine (she is so authentic and personable). If you are considering booking Angie for your wedding - do it!! She is worth every penny!!

Where do I even begin honestly! Angie is more than a photographer, she doubles as a wedding planner, confidant, and now a friend! She is one of the biggest parts of my wedding that I miss! It all began when we were first given a list of photographer referrals, I stopped the second I saw her portfolio and knew we had to have her. Her artistic talent and ability to evoke emotion was unlike anything I have ever seen in an image. The moments she captures and the boldness of colours, angles and perspective far supersedes anything we could have possible dreamt of. And then we met her...Angie is the epitome of kindness, fun-loving, approachable and professional. She is genuinely one of the most incredible and talented people I have ever met! I knew from the moment we met her, she would be a pivotal part of our day and continues to remain a great friend. She has an innate ability to make you feel completely comfortable and really enjoy the wedding planning process! Her constant communication, tips and tricks and suggestions really make it a seamless experience. She thinks of everything for you and goes greatly above and beyond her call of duty! She gave us great recommendations for our rehearsal dinner, one of which we booked (Trilogy Sailing Sunset Cruise!) which really captures who we are and what we love, being on the water! Angie is also exceptionally organized. She pre-plans the key family and friend portraits ahead of time with you so no one gets missed and you don't need to think of anything on the day of except being in the moment. On the day of, she was an absolute rock. We had such a blast with her and she truly captured every moment. Our guests also expressed just how incredible she was on the day to ensure everything went smoothly ( we had three venues)! Our guests also continue to sing her praises as we do, long after the wedding is over. Now comes our trash the dress shoot the next day.... I actually don't think I have ever had this much fun or laughed this hard. She spent so much time over the course of the year planning these locations out for us as we had specific landscapes we were looking for as we really wanted to go all out with this shoot and trash the dress in the ocean against a breathtaking backdrop and boy was this a success! Our photos were unlike anything I've seen, we had to buy as many as possible! They are sheer works of art and they still leave me speechless to this day. I was also very appreciative of the teaser photos she continued to send us as she prepared our slideshow and album, it really kept the memories alive! I was also hugely impressed with the date night she planned for us to design our wedding album( that was included in the cost!). We had such a blast and she has continued to connect with us as we try and narrow down our wall art decisions (a difficult feat when we love them all)! No joke she would text me back immediately with new mock ups of different wall art layouts! If you are looking for a photographer, you can stop looking. She is simply the best there is and you will also develop a great friend along the way. The care she shows her customers exceeds expectations but it is just who she is at her core, caring, compassionate, empathetic, inspiring, absolutely hilarious, and talented beyond words. Where do I begin?
From her creativeness to her calming aura and her true love for photography Angie is amazing all around!! From the beginning, anyone can see how passionate Angie is about what she does. Once she knows what you're looking for she'll add her own creativity and spunk to create the most stunning photos. Angie captures not only the beauty of the environment but also all the emotions throughout the day. For us, that was what made the photos even better.
Angie made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I was so worried I'd look like a stiff awkward board in all my pictures but she eased all those nerves shortly after she arrived. She'll keep you laughing and help spark the feels for those more intimate photos.
When the day is done and Angie leaves, she leaves as a friend, not just your wedding photographer.

Amazing photographer (and person)!
One of my top priorities for my wedding were the photos. So I spent close to 2 months scouring wedding wire, the knot, etc. and then followed my top picks on Instagram for a month. The whole time, Angie was my number one choice. No one else was even close. She’s able to capture these surreal, epic portraits that highlight the beauty of Hawaii, while concurrently having the uncanny ability to catch the spontaneous moments that make a wedding unique and special.
I booked Angie before I even booked my wedding venue, that’s how much I fell in love with her photography. It was only afterwards that I realized how great of a PERSON she is! Planning a destination wedding is hard. Angie was there to answer all my questions and make recommendations. The day of, she knew when to be inconspicuous so my now husband and I could share an intimate first look (yet still capture that moment!), and when to be right there with us, making us laugh and be natural in front of the camera. She’s so personable and such a lovely person that even after the wedding I still follow her on Instagram. Word of advice: book her early!! You don’t want to miss out on having Angie as your photographer! -

Angie was by far our favorite vendor at our wedding. Not only is she a super fun, charismatic human, but we absolutely loved her shots. She has an incredible eye for light and color, and really knows how to play to the lighting to capture beautiful landscapes. In addition, she brilliantly captured some of our most memorable moments at our wedding; those candid moments when our friends and families cried, laughed, and danced. Where do you even start to share the appreciation you have for your wedding photographer? She isn't just a photographer. She's a wedding planner, family tolerator, chaos coordinator, motivator, and all around great person. Need a ride to your own wedding? Sure. Angie will take you and your best friend to the venue. Need a string to disappear from the groom's vest quickly before he walks down the isle and nobody can find scissors? Sure. Angie will literally use her teeth to bite it off for you. Yes...that actually happened. If you're looking for that ONE perfect picture from your wedding, this photographer isn't for you. She will actually give you dozens. From the first planning meeting to the final prints, Angie did an incredible job of capturing our connection to each other, our family, and our magical wedding day. And she made it FUN! We are not people who take lots of pictures of ourselves, but Angie helped us relax and enjoy the process. We were not too sure about splurging on photography at first, but thankfully a friend pointed out that when the wedding is over, the photos are the part you get to keep. We are THRILLED to have so many gorgeous photos to capture our familyʻs time together. We will cherish and share these pictures with our family for decades to come. The Experience of a Lifetime
Let me start by saying; if you’re looking for a photographer in Maui, look no further. Not only are you getting an amazing, talented and artistic photographer, but you’re also getting a friend. From start to finish Angie is always ensuring everything is perfect. She will welcome you to Maui with a mini-meeting to finalize those “special shots” that you want. On our wedding day Angie went above and beyond our expectations by climbing hills and rocks in search of the perfect shot, not to mention that she lets you enjoy the moment instead of hands on coaching. Just when we thought things could not get any better, Angie spotted a unique sky forming and kept us out just a little bit longer for a stunning picture we will never forget. When it comes to album design and wall art, we were blown away. Angie has that magical touch designing the most beautiful, stunning albums and also went out of her way to show us how the canvases would look in our own home. We could not be happier with the entire process of working with Angie, as it was the perfect match. She is truly a rockstar and someone we are thankful to call a friend for life. Angie is AMAZING! She is the best wedding photographer I have ever seen. My husband and I received a handful of sneak peek photos shortly after the wedding, and we are in awe of them! Our family and friends have been raving about the shots, expressing that they are the most beautiful and creative they have ever seen.
Looking at our photos brings back all of the magic and emotion from our wedding day; Angie truly knows how to capture a moment and bring it to life. This is an exceptional skill, and I believe she does it better than anyone I’ve ever seen! We are so grateful that we will have these photos; they allow us to relive our favorite day, forever. Her photos are pure magic!
Brendan and I love Maui and wanted our images to reflect just how special the island is to us. When choosing our photographer, we scrolled through countless images, and Angie’s won by a landslide each time in terms of capturing Maui’s vibrant natural beauty and uniqueness.
Not only is she very skilled, but she is also sweet, fun, and incredibly personable. These are very important character traits for a person who will be sharing your wedding day with you. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and that shows through in our photos. All of our guests loved meeting and talking with Angie- it really felt like she was part of the group, and we now consider her a friend. Angie was also wonderful during the planning process. She provided us with a lot of helpful insight regarding our venue and vendors.

The best ever
From the moment we saw Angie’s work we knew she was the one for us! She was absolutely a joy to work with and never once did we feel anything but comfortable. She captured all of the happiness and love at our wedding that we otherwise wouldn’t have seen! During cocktail hour Angie pulled us quickly away bc she spotted an epic rainbow forming from the mountains… needless to say Angie IS THE BEST. You can tell by her work that she has true talent and loves what she does! We cannot thank Angie enough for our wedding photos and for being so kind, 100000% would recommend! -

Angie was by far the best money we spent on our whole wedding! She was easy, funny, flexible and so positive about the day, down pour and all. The pictures we got were BEYOND amazing. Oh, My, God. We have loved, loved, LOVED everything about our experience with Angie. Not only is she an AMAZING photographer but she is the sweetest human. She was kind, friendly, caring, personal and light hearted from the very beginning. Even over the phone and coordinating emails she never lost her kind hearted vibrance. Our wedding was intimate, quirky, casual and little disorganized. The day flew bye in a haze, and Angie never missed a beat. In fact she captured the day in a way that let us see moments we wouldn’t have otherwise. A tear running down a cheek, a hug, a look, a smile. It all looks so magical from her point of view. Her creativity level is off the charts amazing. She seemed to capture the very essence of us and our love, and from seeing her other work I get the feeling she has a knack for that. When I show off the picture to family and friend I always hear a version of “Wow! Your photographer was awesome!” And I couldn’t agree more! I am SO thankful for theses beautiful, amazing, aw inspiring moments that Angie captured that I cant stop looking at. Of course my favorite work of hers is our wedding, but I love following her on Instagram and seeing the rest of her jaw dropping / heart warming photos. The best thing about having a wedding (besides actually getting married) is having an excuse to be photographed by Angie. I simply cannot express in words how amazing she is!!!! I have known Angie since she started her business. Her family was an integral part of my wedding and my DREAM was to have her photograph it. It was the EASIEST and absolutely BEST decision I made. Angie is, in my opinion, one of the best artists in the industry. If you don’t believe me, check out her instagram (your eyes will thank you) and you can see that her work speaks for itself. She is always learning, pushing boundaries, and coming up with new, creative ideas to make your photos unique and to make sure each one is a piece of art. She will get up close and personal, crawl into bushes, or lie down on the ground, just to capture every single important moment for you. The best part is, you’ll feel so comfortable with her that you won’t realize it until she sends you the most breathtaking gallery. Then you’ll see a photo you didn’t know she was taking and it will bring you exactly back to the moment and I promise you, you will feel ALL THE FEELS. She will capture the smiles, the laughs, the tears, the hugs, the colors, the landscapes, and the sunsets (and my god, THE SUNSETS THAT SHE CAPTURES). I swear, your heart will burst with emotion every time you look at your photos because they will be perfect. Angie is a dream to work with - she keeps you updated, answers all of your questions no matter how silly they might be (I asked a lot of really silly ones), knows all of the in’s and out’s of the industry, and she will have your back. Do you feel stressed? She will ground you, help you, and make it so easy. Angie will be your cheerleader during the planning process and the entire day of the wedding. By the end of it, you’ll wish you could have had her as a bridesmaid AND photographer. And the morning after your wedding, when you can’t believe it’s all over, you’ll receive “sneak peeks” of your photos, because Angie will go home after this long day and KEEP WORKING FOR YOU. Angie is one of my favorite vendors we booked for our wedding day (and I liked all of them!). She was recommended to us by our wedding planner and the second I browsed her portfolio and saw how her packages work I had to have her!
She was so fun to work with for both our engagement shoot and wedding day- and interact with periodically on instagram. She even sent us this adorable gift care package a month before our wedding. Her 2nd photographer the day of our wedding (Amber) was also really fun.
I really appreciated that her style isn't the typical cookie cutter wedding photography you often see -lots of candid/raw moments vs posing (besides family formals). Also lots of vivid color! I am really pleased my wedding photos look unique and special- getting them was a really big treat and immediately sucked me back to the day (that in real life went by in a whirlwind). I also really liked how she shared a slideshow she made especially for us before our gallery was ready- it was fun and interactive and just shows she cares about interacting with her clients!

My Husband and I decided to elope on Maui and when looking for a photographer I came across Angie’s work and was immediately drawn to her work. We first planned on doing a simple vow exchange with just the two of us and she was willing to help us do that, aside from just being our photographer. A couple months before the wedding we decided our parents were joining, and to have an actual ceremony. Angie was amazing with helping us with the change of plans by suggesting everything we needed. I honestly was just as excited about our pictures as I was to get married!! I warned her my husband and I were super awkward in front of the camera and she told us to not worry. She was able with simple cues and tricks to get us to be comfortable and our pictures turned out AMAZING!!! Not only did I marry the man of my dreams, I have the most awe dropping pictures to remember that special day! -

The one thing I was told when I set out to spend money on my wedding was; DO NOT SKIMP ON YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER! So from day one I knew if I had to spend a little less on the fancy shoes or consider DIY decor I would, because my photos would be my biggest investment. I am one of those people who relies heavily on reviews. 500 people can't be wrong! While I'm not trendy, I do believe in doing my research. Once again, my research did not let me down. I was told to choose a photographer that matches your style - it's not just about taking a nice picture. I never knew exactly what that meant. In a world where selfies, filters, and Photoshop apps are everything, does anyone really know their own style? Literally 10 seconds on Angie's website and I understood what everyone meant. I am a hippie. I love nature, I'd rather focus on what's around me. I want to remember the sights, the sunsets, and maybe even the laughter under that palm tree. I once read a quote that said; Photography helps people to see. This rings so true. We never put our phones down long enough to enjoy the view...or the moment. Angie was our vision. Your wedding day is crazy. You tell yourself you'll stop to soak it all up, but you never do. You want to say hi to everyone, you want to grab at least one bite of that 80.00 entree, smell the frosting on that cupcake and make sure everyone else is having a good time. At the end of the night you tell yourself...did I soak up enough? Well, wipe your tears because Angie soaked it all up for you. She captured that tear your groom shed as you walked down the aisle, she captured the time you laughed so hard you nearly choked when your bridesmaid tumbled over in her chair on the beautiful grassy knoll, she captured your father in law relaxing on the trunk of a tree as the sun set, she captured your mom watching you marry your best friend, she captured the ocean that you never noticed behind you as your now husband kissed you on the forehead. She told you to relax, she helped you with your dress, she laughed with you when you realized that you and your husband are probably the dorkiest, least romantic people she's ever worked with. She gave us pictures that you don't just look at, she gave us pictures that you feel. If you don't know what I'm talking about then let this be the reason why you choose her. Let Angie help you see. Angie did an AMAZING job on our wedding photos. We had such a hard time choosing from the list of vendors that our coordinator gave us since all of them looked great. The more we looked at Angie's photos though, the more we fell in love. Her style captivated us and we decided that she would be the perfect person to take photos of all the wonderful memories from our very special day. The results were BEAUTIFUL! All the colors, authenticity, and just "in the moment" shots were captured and we are beyond happy and grateful for all of Angie and her assistant's hard work. We will definitely book with Angie again, whenever we get another opportunity. Highly recommended!
