Angela Dodson is a full-time wedding photographer in the Seattle, Washington area but also open to destination ceremonies and elopmenets.
Love and connection is what Angela strives to capture, and your wedding day is sure to showcase both. Angela aims to be more of a documentary wedding photographer meaning that on your wedding day, she will capture the story, environment, and interaction as it is, with no alterations or interferences. This is your day and as your photographer it is Angela's job to help visually share your story as it actually happens. But of course, she is also there to hold your hand, dress, hug your crying moms, and ease the overall flow of the day.
Angela has been documenting weddings for the last two years, but has been behind a camera since she was just barely a teenager! In her recent move from Missouri to Washington state, she is eager to explore her new home here in the PNW. Meeting new people is so much more than an investment to Angela, and you will see the work she puts in to make sure you feel valued as two individuals, NOT just clients.

A few months late but wanted to leave my review because hiring Angela was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Angela‘s photo journalism style photography captured our day in the best light. I love her black and whites because they focus on the details of that beautiful moment that was captured. From start to finish, Angela was easy going, kind, and professional. Even moments that could have been very “pose-y” looked natural, as if a camera was never there. I cherish all the moments that she was able to capture and would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you Angela!

We couldn't have been happier.
I don't even know where to begin. Not only did I feel loved and cared about but I felt listened to. She also helped bring so many amazing ideas to the table I hadn't even thought about. And she was honest with me and I felt truly cared for. Angela bring charism and charm with her. I felt like she was just as excited for me as I was. She also was wonderful working with our families to make sure everyone felt loved and included even though we had a time crunch due to rain. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to take care of
us on our wedding day. I can't shower her enough in good things. She's definitely someone I hold very dear in my heart. Thank you Angela for your hard work and love during our most special day. Passionate and memorable!
Angela has been a huge help to me over the last few years — as a wedding photographer myself, she has gone above and beyond for me at my weddings. And I've seen her go above and beyond for her own clients, as well! She's incredibly passionate about her photography and her business and you should have no doubts that she'll capture photos that you'll want to look at every single day. I highly recommend her!

Phenomenal
Angela was absolutely phenomenal. She was friendly, patient & kind. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else capturing such a big day in our family. Her pictures are beautiful & outstanding. She truly cared about capturing the right moment. I couldn’t recommend her any higher. You’d be crazy to go with anyone else!

Absolutely amazing
We have had Angela as our photographer for our proposal pictures, our engagement photos and in 3 months our wedding. We had a preview of our sessionS around 2 hours after the session was over and had our entire session a few days after that. You read so many reviews of other photographers taking weeks, maybe even a month to get photos back so I was pleasantly surprised. She is also so fast to respond if you have any questions or concerns. She is so bubbly and makes you feel so comfortable and like you’ve know her for years. 1000% recommended her.
