Hi there! Thanks for clicking on my profile. My photographic style can be characterized as a unique combination of traditional portraiture technique and modern wedding photojournalism. I love to capture what Henri Cartier-Bresson described as "the decisive moment". These are pivotal moments that depict the emotions you experienced on your special day; images of tender beauty and timeless romance. I make sure I'm in the best position to capture those subtle moments that make all the difference in your special day, that "look" between a soon to be husband and wife or tender moments between a father and daughter. Those moments can't be replicated and are what you'll cherish years from now.

Some history... I have a Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography from the California State University, Long Beach. 7 years of my training has been spent as an apprentice to a well known wedding/portrait photographer here in LA. I've been shooting weddings since the early 1990's. Back then it was all Hasselblad medium format film cameras! That's not to say that I'm old or not current with today's photography trends though. These days I'm shooting the most up to date Canon digital bodies and top of the line L-series lenses. As trends and looks evolve over the years, I stay current with today's trends but also hold tightly to the things that don't change.
