Amy Thompson is truly an exceptional photographer and I am so glad we decided to hire her for our wedding in May. I was initially drawn to her photos because they felt so candid, organic, and natural…almost like I was at the wedding, which is exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. During my first call with Amy I was certain I wanted to hire her because not only is she very skilled at what she does, I also just really liked her vibe as a person and felt like she would jive with our group.

For the next few months she was in consistent communication with me to make sure we were both on the same page about the overall flow of the day and what shots we wanted to get. I spoke with her more than any other vendor and she was always prompt to follow up via email after our call. She even went out to the venue a few weeks before the wedding to stake out some good photo opportunities, which is such a strong testament to how committed she is to doing a good job for her clients.

We just got our photos back last week and my husband and I are both beyond thrilled with how they turned out. When I look through our photos I am instantly taken back to the best day of my life…the way I felt when I walked toward my husband-to-be with my mom and dad by my side, how much fun we had dancing with our friends and family, and how utterly in love and excited we felt about our future…I’m there again reliving every moment.

Amy was our wedding photographer and so much more! We didn't have a wedding planner and she sent us a suggested itinerary for the day, which we followed to a T. It was such a great help! She took the most beautiful photographs before and during the ceremony. Family pictures were wonderful and party pics were great too! She really captured the entire day! After the dust settled, she helped us put together a beautifully arranged and bound wedding book to hold our memories.
