We hired Amy and Jackson (and June!) to photograph our wedding (with an included engagement pictures session) and to say that they are just photographers might be one of the grandest understatements possible. They are, simply put, an incredible team and I wish we could get married 100 more times so we could work with them 100 times again. They are fun, smart, professional, mindful, selective, artistic and do they ever work well together as a team!

We had an excellent first experience meeting them in Staunton, where our wedding was going to be, for our engagement photos session. They had a perfect plan in mind going into it and executed it flawlessly, from the correct order of locations to scouting the best looking areas within those locations for great looking pictures, all while being mindful of the lighting to ensure they produced the best possible pictures.

For the wedding, they were exceptional and some. Their ability to direct us and make us feel comfortable, especially working within a strict timing situation, was remarkable. I could go into paragraphs of detail, but the most telling thing is that when our wedding planner left well before the wedding was over, the Smiths stayed all the way through to the end of the night, giving my wife and me a ride through the rain back up to the main property after the reception when the logistics were otherwise breaking down. They were the ones keeping things on schedule more than anyone else and we haven't stopped talking about it since.

I guess it's also worth mentioning that the quality of their actual pictures is unbelievable. I was going to be happy enough just compiling pictures our friends took and calling it a day, but my wife insisted we needed a great photographer and it's the one and only time in our entire relationship that she's been right and I've been wrong. For everything I mentioned above and everything else I left out that was great about working with Amy and Jackson, it was worth every penny and we'll recommend them to anyone and everyone who will listen! We hired the Smiths for our engagement photos and our June 2022 wedding. They are both very kind and professional and made my partner and me feel at ease in front of the camera.
