The Jordans Wedding

This company and its founder was SUCH a joy and a pleasure to get to know and work with. They made a stressful experience of event planning feel calm, smooth, and fun. The team arrives early and stays late to handle all the details. They event convinced my wedding singer to stay longer so I could walk to the song I had dreamed about walking out to one day, although I was (of course) running behind schedule that day. It is details like this that show the level of care, thoughtfulness, and effort they invest in making any event as close to perfect as humanly possible! I would be honored to work with them again!

A&N Events & Design is the way to go for event planning!

We had the most wonderful experience with Ambrosia & Nectar Events and Design. While spending more on a planner initially seems counterintuitive to staying within budget for a wedding celebration, it truly is worth the investment to retain your peace of mind and focus on celebrating a long-awaited event. Kerris is detailed-oriented and extremely organized, but also fun and creative. All of these skills ensure that each planning meeting is intentional and focused on what matters most to you. She did not back away from a challenge, and often would build upon our ideas to expand our view of what was possible. Kerris is truly someone you want in your corner, especially when dealing with so many different vendors and constantly having to juggle different price points and ideas. A&N also blew us away on our actual wedding day. Not only did the team ensure that everything was running as seamlessly as possible, but they also took the time to go above and beyond what was expected. From setting up different decorative elements in the ceremony and reception spaces, to helping us figure out how to bustle a wedding dress (true story), each action demonstrated excellence and care in everything they do. If you’re planning a significant event and like us, felt overwhelmed by the weight of it all, I can assure you A&N is the way to go.

Highly recommend

Kerris, the owner and planner for Ambrosia & Nectar events, was extremely professional and friendly. We had the most beautiful day and received countless compliments on how fun and beautiful our wedding day was, and how nice and proficient her staff was. I’d always recommend.

A super planner!!

I had the privilege of working with Kerris for her clients beautiful wedding design at the Sunset Coffee Building. Her vision and execution is flawless and I highly recommend her to couples looking to organize their special wedding day!

Kerris the owner of this business is VERY rude, nonchalant, and has a real bad negative spirit. In the beginning during our first consultation things were good of course because she was trying to get hired for the job. Once we locked her in to be our wedding coordinator she started to get very hostile and non approachable when it came to us asking her any questions! My wife even reached out to her one day to simply update her on one of our vendors and she told my wife “She do not schedule meetings until 8 weeks before our wedding day” when her welcome packet, emails and phone conversations CLEARLY stated “to reach out anytime if you have any questions or concerns”. Every follow up meeting that we had which weren’t many it felt super rushed, a dark cloud throughout the entire meeting and it felt like we had to walk on egg shells while doing business and talking to her!! Kerris is very dismissive and has the spirit of she knows it all and can’t be told anything.

Rehearsal day things went smoothly with our bridal party. We went over the bridal party entrance several times with Kerris to ensure she had the correct flow of where everyone needs to be at for wedding day. We did not get to practice our kissing dip for photo moments which is a bummer. Kerris confirmed she had everything in order and ready.

Wedding day, I barely saw Kerris leading up to the ceremony. I expected her to check on me and my wife to ensure everything was good. She also ensured during our follow up meetings that we was going to be seeing her throughout the day and that she would in fact check on us, which did NOT happened. When she did arrive to my bridal suite right before the ceremony started she told me and my bridal concierge that we needed to wait a few minutes before getting me dressed to allow more guests to come. Why are we waiting on more guests when me and my wife said numerous times our wedding is promptly starting @5pm!? Because of her telling us to wait for me to get dressed it delayed my ceremony causing everything after that to be VERY rushed! I did not get a lot of individual pictures of myself in my dress because she caused this delayed of me “not having to get dresses on time”. After I finally got dressed and it was time for me to enter the ceremony I specifically told Kerris on numerous occasions and even at the rehearsal that my two brothers were going to walk me down the aisle! Kerris ONLY sent 1 brother to me which caused another delay because my 1 brother had to hurrry up and run inside while the ceremony already started to grab my other brother before he walked down the aisle with the rest of the bridal party!

Reception, noticed that our wedding cake was leaning and had fingerprints at the top. As a coordinator Kerris is supposed to examine everything the vendors are dropping off to ensure all of the items are in good condition. When this was brought to Kerris attention she originally stated that the cake was in good condition when she received it then after I sent her several pictures of the cake her answer changed to “oh yeah it does look like it’s leaning and have fingerprints”.

Kerris behavior & attitude is UNACCEPTABLE and I don’t want anyone else going through this on their special day! Find someone who can deliver the job the right way, can get along with not only you/ spouse but your guests & vendors as well.

Overall our guests and other vendors made sure we had an amazing time.
