I first picked up a camera more than a decade ago, after graduating from high school in Los Angeles and relocating to the bay area to ride the dot-com boom as an HTML developer. Now I'm a UC Berkeley alum (2006 & 2008) and live in a loft in San Francisco with my husband Scott (also a photographer) and our three cats. My background in web and graphic design certainly helped me develop my eye for photography, but to be honest, photography has come naturally for me--a true talent and passion, an an extension of myself at the deepest level.

I am always in motion, always thinking, with a positive attitude, boundless energy and a quick wit (you are not required to laugh at my jokes, though I do love it when you do!). I like to think that I'm easy to work with--I enjoy sitting back and watching a scene develop just as much as I love to interact with my clients during a shoot to help them relax and have fun. It's amazing how much better photos are when clients are comfortable and happy in front of the camera!

To me, inspiration comes from the idea that a photo captures a moment in time that can never exist again. How special, to be the one that captures that moment! I specialize in music photography (live events, portraits and promo shots) as well as weddings, pets and couples. I shoot almost exclusively with natural light.
