My husband and I wanted to have a small wedding low key at city hall but I wanted to find an amazing photographer that could capture the beauty of city hall in our photos. After hours of researching, I found RedSphere Studio’s and knew they had to photograph our wedding. Alex was quick with his communication and I knew he would be great to work with and I was so right.

The day of the wedding went very smoothly and both Alex and Anastasia were so easy and pleasant to work with. When we got the preview of the photos back, I was so excited to see how they capture everything I wanted at city hall in our photos. Alex and Anastasia also did an amazing job of capturing or twins, they looked beautiful. Our photography enthusiast friends commented on how every single photo was flawless from a technical perspective and we had so many beautiful photos from this that we had a hard time choosing which ones would go up on our walls. I highly recommend using RedSphere as they were highly professional and easy to work with. The photographs say it all.

I first want to mention that my fiancé is experienced in photography, which meant that finding a photographer for our engagement shoot that was up to his standards was a challenge. We were immediately drawn to Alex’s unique style and attention to lighting. Alex and Anastasia made us look absolutely magical despite being outdoors in frigid temperatures. Alex was able to beautifully capture our beauty while doing justice to our surroundings. We wanted some specific shots and a shorter package and he was very accommodating and even got us our photos within a week despite the holidays.

Working with RedSphere Studio (Alex + Anastasia) is one of the best decisions we’ve made for our wedding in Stanford Memorial Church + The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay.

We first got to know RedSphere Studio by reference from Stanford Memorial Church as one of the several studios that had photographed there for weddings. I compared many photographers with him. Alex’s unique style stand out. He uses color and light brilliantly, and he is great at catching emotional moments. Then we contacted Alex and started our business with them.

When we worked with Alex and Anastasia, we found them very easy to work with and very responsible. They stayed more than 12 hours for our long and multi-location wedding and actively took photos from start to end. Our wedding day had an extremely tight schedule since we have three locations to take photos and commute between half moon bay and Stanford, and having Alex was a great relief. He managed our busy timeline with his professionalism and efficiency, and made it possible for us to go to multiple spots and took photos that we desired for.

We got a group of sneak peek photos 2 weeks after the wedding. It is very considerate that they sent us those photos for posting on social media. 8 weeks after the wedding we got the final edits, including a highlight slideshow and 200+ fully edited photos. These photos are great and I got a lot of “wows” from friends and family. We are very glad those photos captured the happiness deep within the hearts of us and the guests.

Overall, it is a very great experience working with Alex and Anastasia and we definitely recommend them!

Tips: We did both our engagement photo session and wedding photos with RedSphere Studios. It turns out that doing engagement session as a “trial run” is very important for us. We learned how we need to interact with Alex and Anastasia during the engagement photo session. I think our wedding day photos may not look as great if we didn’t have this prior experience. I recommend taking engagement session photos and review them before your wedding :)

Alex and Anastasia were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and a lot of fun in planning our wedding and over our wedding weekend! The photo journalism style of the photographs, and attention to lighting and detail made for exceptionally stunning photos.

We are so happy with the final photos, the photos are a beautiful and special memory of the best day of our lives, and we are so grateful to Alex and Anastasia for capturing the special, romantic, fun and goofy moments throughout our wedding day!

My husband and I chose RedSphere studios for our engagement and wedding photos and I am so happy we did! Alex and Anastasia are an absolute pleasure to work with and made us feel very comfortable. They are very quick to answer any questions and we got our photos back very quickly. Also, our photos are so unique and beautiful. I first of all I want to say I work in the wedding industry with the pickiest of the pickiest, so I understand perfection and Alex and Anastasia were amazing!!!! I have to admit, people thought I was crazy spending so much for my photographer but her is not the most expensive and even my husband had to be convinced. But once we met him we knew he could help find our wedding moments in photos that we would never forget. It has been two months and we already have 4 giant canvases of our wedding and my husband can not stop bragging about our photographer and photos he originally was skeptical about...now he's happy! We are not models, we are not skinny perfect people and our venue was not a $100,000 wedding! But we loved our photos, he made our venue stand out like no other photos from the same venue and weddings held at the same place. We loved the way we looked in them! I will look at these photos the rest of my life and it was worth every penny! On top of the fact they were both so nice, professional and attentive from the very beginning and even to the end! If you want to capture how much you love your spouse he is the photographer for you!

RedSphere’s ability to incorporate the surrounding scenery & space with pictures of “us” is exceptional without question. Alex and Anastasia did their homework. They arrived earlier in the day and surveyed the outdoor & indoor areas so that we could maximize our time together once we arrived. Definitely ‘top notch’! Very professional, non-obtrusive and extremely competent. Truly experts in photography. You won’t be disappointed. Take the time to align with Alex ahead of time so that he knows what your goals are and he will deliver.

We LOVE RedSphere! We feel so lucky to have found them at a wedding expo shortly after getting engaged. We knew then and there we wanted them as our photographers if they had our date open (once we picked it). and they did!

We had a fantastic time doing our engagement shoot with Alex and Anastasia. They asked us to send them a list of locations here in San Francisco for our engagement shoot...and Alex added some others he thought would work well. We had a rainy day which worried me at first...but Alex said it's his favorite weather to shoot in! And we LOVED the outcome! Gorgeous enchanting photos. And we also just had a great time hanging out with them all day - two really genuine and fun people.

We then had Alex and Anastasia with us ALL DAY on our wedding day! They were everywhere and I know they got some awesome shots. They were with us while getting ready, throughout the ceremony and reception, and they even came to the after party! We've seen some sneak peaks and they are, as expected, glorious! We can't wait to see the rest.

Alex really has an eye for unique and artistic shots and we so loved working with them!! I would recommend them to any/everyone!

I first saw Alex and his work at a bridal show and we really liked his style. His website shows lots of amazing shoots from his previous clients. His fees are very reasonably priced, compared to other vendors. We booked him for both our engagement and wedding pictures. We decided on San Francisco for our Engagement shoot and Alex took us to a few locations throughout. He was very easy to work with and had great ideas/locations for the pictures. He provided the engagement pictures ahead of schedule- which worked out great because we were short on time. Our wedding was last Saturday, on February 25th so we won't have the wedding pictures for a while but Alex was kind enough to provide us with a few sneak peek images. I just have to write a review for Alex and Brenda at Redsphere because they are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! They just shot my wedding this past Saturday 1/19/13 so obviously its way too soon to see the pictures yet, but I was so impressed with them I couldn't wait to write them a review!! From the beginning Redsphere was professional, kind, responsive to my emails and never made me feel like a crazy bride! They were quick to respond to my emails and over other photographers whose work I wasn't impressed with are priced very competitively, and believe me they are worth every penny!!! Redsphere arrived early the day of and were literally there for every moment all day long! They made the process easy and I am confident that they captured all my moments. Above all Alex and Brenda are super nice and you never feel like you have a camera in your face! Brenda even had to deal with all my rowdy groomsmen and my groom (who had started the party early that morning) and did wonderfully with them. I can tell Alex has a true vision for photography and he did an amazing job! I had a huge list of photos that I wanted, especially at the church where we were under a time crunch and they handled it all so efficiently, they made it look easy!
