Tonya was fabulous. Once she came to the rescue, my stress level immediately dropped. Because of her, I was able to enjoy my daughter's wedding and reception. She was very professional, experienced, accessible, and a joy to work with. My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner. I highly recommend Always Perfect.

Seemed great at first. Everything turned out "fine", but not as well as promised. Really sad to share a poor review, but did not deliver what I expected. So hard to get a hold of which is my main reason for this review. She was really helpful at times, but so inconsistent.

Tonya McNees from Always Perfect Special Events was our wedding planner, and to say I am disappointed is an understatement. Our wedding was pushed back due to COVID, so we worked with her for about 2 years to plan the wedding of our dreams. Although we made the best of it and I am so happy to be married to my best friend, it WAS NOT the wedding of our dreams. I honestly feel like we were scammed. We met for all our scheduled appointments with Tonya, let her know everything we wanted/wished for, and after 2 years of planning with her, SO MANY THINGS WERE A DISAPPOINTMENT. She made it seem like everything was going to go the way I asked every single time we met with her. After the new year of 2021 started, I could hardly get a hold of her until about 2 weeks before the wedding. I was nervous, but what was I going to do at this point? The day of the wedding, I arrived and the room I was supposed to wait in/freshen up in was filled with boxes from her employees. There were not enough chairs at every table for my guests. The food catered by her staff that was supposed to be “family style” came in a bowl that was enough for MAYBE 2 people. Guests left hungry and I had one guest tell me they went to MCDONALDS after. The beer was warm, and the signature drinks were watered down. The vendors that I used of hers were NOT good. It was very embarrassing to hear the reviews from my guests afterwards. When I emailed her after the wedding, I expressed all the things that I was disappointed in and asked for some of a refund. She never replied. It took me a little bit to write this review because I hate thinking about all the money that we spend for what we got and after everything, she can’t even reply and apologize. I usually don’t do bad reviews however, after receiving no response from her, I need to get this out in the open for people to know, so it doesn’t happen to them. I honestly wished I would have planned my own wedding and when I think about how this all went down, I get very upset with how much money we paid for our dream wedding.
