Our wedding on October 26, 2024, was an absolute dream, and that’s thanks to Michelle. She worked with us to ensure that every detail was beautifully thought out and executed seamlessly. Her team was professional, kind, and absolutely on top of everything (even the things we didn’t realize we needed help with!).

Michelle has an incredible gift for turning vision into reality. She listened to our ideas, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped us stay true to ourselves every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, we were able to be fully present and soak it all in, knowing we were in the best hands.

Working with Michelle was one of the best decisions my husband and I could’ve made when it came to planning our wedding. On the first call, I gave Michelle a general idea of what my vision was and over the span of a year and a half, she did everything in her power to turn that vision into something even greater than my wildest dreams. I recommend Michelle and Allure Weddings with full confidence.

Michelle is attentive and makes sure to prioritize the couples’ vision, but she is also not afraid to make suggestions that you may not have even thought of. For example, I told her my father passed away and that he was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Michelle recommended several vendors for our wedding that brought the culture and essence of Puerto Rico front and center and I know my dad was proud. Because of her, we had pleneros perform at the wedding as well as a piragua cart for guests to enjoy during happy hour. Those are aspects of the wedding my husband and I will never forget.

Michelle was also able to leverage her vendor relationships to elevate our vision. My husband and I love pizza, so we wanted to find a way to incorporate that as a late night snack. Our original idea was to just order a few pizzas and have someone pass them out during the reception. Michelle was able to find us a mobile pizza truck that was able to make fresh pizzas on site. This is something our guests are STILL talking about.

Michelle was also very agile and adaptable. On the wedding day, there was no rain in the forecast during the time of the ceremony. Moments before the ceremony started, it started pouring. Immediately Michelle and her team kicked into gear and shuffled everyone to their appropriate places. Even though we rehearsed a Plan B, we instead had to use a plan c that was not rehearsed, but nobody would’ve known that because Michelle and her team made sure everything was running seamlessly. I never felt one ounce of stress when dealing with Michelle.

I also want to shout out how helpful she is and how she goes above and beyond. 2 days before the wedding she helped us set up a local restaurant for our welcome party. She was also a great advocate and negotiator. We had a last minute transportation issue that could’ve been really costly—Michelle’s negotiation skills saved the day and my husband and I did not have to pay any additional money to fix this issue. This is type of person I would trust with planning one of the most important days of my life.

I want to thank Michelle for all she did for me, my husband, and our families. She always made us feel like a priority, and even when she moved out of Puerto Rico she never missed a beat. You can tell she cares deeply about her work and that this is more than just a job for her. She really is invested in the couple and making sure they get the things they want, while also not being afraid to make suggestions about things that the couple may overlook.

I cannot wait to see the magic Michelle creates for other couples. She created something that surpassed my even my wildest dreams. We are proud to be an Allure couple!

When we started evaluating wedding planners, we were down to two choices. When we first met with Michelle, we immediately connected. She won us over with her personality, her professionalism and her belief in herself. Being a self-starter myself (Gus), that immediately resonated with us.

Despite being the higher cost, we were determined to go with her and Allure Weddings because of everything she brought to the table: trusted vendor relationships, attention to detail, fully bilingual (English/Spanish so as nothing was lost in translation between other vendors and us), thoroughness and a fierce advocacy for us and our needs.

As someone in the industry (Gus is a DJ) who’s seen and worked with a lot of vendors in this sector from the terrible to the very good, I was BLOWN AWAY. Michelle is quite simply the best of the best. She delivered BEYOND what she promised she would: her advocacy yielded our DREAM wedding. We keep reliving that day over and over because of how incredible everything turned out.

We had first look at one venue, wedding photos three miles away, and then ceremony, cocktail and reception at the same venue in three separate and distant locales within the venue (Casa de España). Michelle made sure everything went seamlessly; I can’t believe we were able to accomplish everything that we did and it’s all thanks to Michelle.

When you work with someone who bets on herself, you can rest assured that the value that you get in return is beyond what you’d expect. We HIGHLY recommend Michelle and her team at Allure.

I want to first start by saying I never ever write reviews. However, my wedding was a very big deal and I talked to many many wedding planners before I spoke with Michelle. my wedding just pasted on March 23,2024 and I must say it was a fairy tale wedding not only for me but also for my guest! Michelle made my vision a reality. I live in Michigan and she is based in Puerto Rico. no matter the distance Michelle took my vision and made it a reality. I am crying as I write this post because words can not describe how grateful I am for Michelle. Book Michelle as your wedding planner. don't think twice about it. I am a control freak and need to be apart of everything. I never felt more safe relinquishing control of the most important day of my life. I will be writing a review everywhere I can because Michelle deserves all the recognition. BOOK HER!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Michelle for our wedding on March 28, 2025, at Castello San Cristobal and reception at El Convento in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. With roughly 90% of our guest traveling from the States, planning a destination wedding could have been overwhelming, but Michelle made the process much easier and enjoyable.

Michelle was helpful, organized, and communicative throughout the planning process, offering great vendor recommendations and keeping us on track with timelines. We even added a welcome party, which she went above and beyond to help coordinate, including site visits for venues we were considering. The event at Veranda Rooftop in Condado was perfect to kick off our weekend.

There were a few hiccups that bothered me on the wedding day. I never received a copy of the final schedule, which caused some stress trying to coordinate with my wedding party and family on where to be and making sure I was keeping myself/ bridesmaids on time. The bridal assistant was MIA during the morning preparations, which led to some chaos when it was time to get dressed. She also forgot to grab my bouquet, so I did not have it walking down the aisle, though she hustled back to the hotel during the ceremony to retrieve it for post-wedding pictures, which I appreciated.

Logistically, there were some last-minute changes with the guest transportation due to road closures, and although I had provided Michelle with details to access an app to communicate changes, I had to send the message myself on the way to my first look, which added to my anxiety. There was also some miscommunication about where the wedding party was supposed to be staged for photos before the ceremony, which resulted in us getting only a few shots with our entire wedding party.

Lastly, there were a few interactions with guests and the Mother Of The Bride where Michelle could have been more courteous and professional. Some of the exchanges were less than ideal, and I feel a bit more kindness and patience in those moments would have gone a long way.

Overall, our wedding turned out amazing, and our guests said it was the most stunning and fun wedding they had ever attended. Michelle is clearly passionate about her work, I enjoyed working with her, and we’re forever grateful for all her efforts. I would recommend Michelle to other brides planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico.
