Veronica and Island Life Events was my planner for my wedding at El Convento. Throughout the planning process, Veronica and Enrique were available to help with the stress that is creating a room block as well as coordinating and speaking to vendors. When the month of my wedding came around, they were instrumental in planning every detail and making me feel at ease. From the floor plan to the timeline to the eventual wedding rehearsal, they planned every detail to fit my priorities for my wedding day.

On wedding day, there were several hiccups they could not control and they were able to work through them without causing me any additional stress. One of the staff even steamed my wedding dress while Veronica helped secure and dry the outdoor ceremony venue after an unexpected rain shower.

My husband and I just got married in April 2025. We started wedding planning approximately 14 months in advance. Being that it was a destination wedding, we knew we needed help with securing vendors and putting all our ideas together. We met with various wedding planners and had the pleasure of meeting Veronica. With Veronica, it was clear she had the experience and connections with vendors, and had the confidence that we needed to feel reassured and supported throughout our wedding chronicles. We were fortunate to meet with her in-person about 8 months prior to our wedding and maintained constant communication throughout the entire process. Check-ins were on a monthly basis and communication increased greatly in the last month as she kept us on track with all the fine details. I am very much a type-A person who is in constant control, but it was clear I could trust Veronica with relieving some of that pressure. I very much would have planned everything within 1-2 months STRESSED OUT alone LOL but Veronica reassured us of the step-by-step process and guided us in phases which GREATLY helped us embrace and enjoy the entire wedding process. She helped take the load off of things as she kept track of all our expenses, forms, timeline, and small details! Having her alongside us was honestly such a breath of fresh air as the pressure was alleviated and we never felt alone.
