Alison and her team is amazing! Prior to the wedding so was communicative, responsive and provided helpful resources. We did an engagement session with her as well and immediately fell in love with her and her photos. Personally, she is kind and fun, which makes you feel comfortable throughout the day! She honestly gave off loving older sister vibes. She has a lot of experience, especially in the Pittsburgh area. Alison recommended areas to go for rain or shine and knew really great poses. Her talent and expertise is truly unmatched! I love our gallery and can’t even pick a top 10. She always checked in throughout our wedding, works great with kids, helped me with my veil, buttons on my dress and fluffing my train too many times. During the chaos of the day, she moved things around to accommodate the timeline. Alison and her team are a 12/10!!

Words cannot express how amazingly talented Alison is. My husband and I hired Alison to photograph our wedding, and I can easily say it was the best decision we ever made. Alison was extremely responsive and SUPER easy to work with. She made my husband and I feel comfortable and cared for, even while planning with uncertainty through a pandemic.

Alison and her husband Mike were so fun and efficient. Aside from taking photos, they were both extremely helpful with managing our wedding day schedule and lending a helping hand when needed. Alison is amazing! She is so sweet and has such a eye for wedding photography. She was so responsive to all questions and even sent us sweet Mr. and Mrs. coffee mugs during the wedding planning process. Our photos look phenomenal and captured the day beautifully. Alison worked over dinner and put a sample of our photos on her iPad to be displayed at the bar during the reception. She had a blog post of the entire day out while we were still on our honeymoon, and our total album of photos (1,046) to us 11 days after our wedding. The photo taking process was relaxed and casual, especially for a couple who does not enjoy getting their pictures taken. I was wowed by every single picture and was impressed by her ability to capture pictures that were truly "us." Our guests raved about how Alison was everywhere all night. Every time there was a photo opportunity, she was right there capturing it. She is worth every penny!

Alison completely made our wedding the perfect dream that I imagined and I am so lucky to have such beautiful pictures to look at forever. She makes every effort to get to know you as a couple and really bond with you. We did our engagement session with her, so we were totally comfortable with her and knew exactly what to do for the wedding, which made things go quick and smooth. Alison is extremely talented and you can see that in her photography.

Alison and Mike were a joy to work with...and they were fellow pitt alums! Everyone in our wedding party said how much they loved working with them! The photos were unreal and they are SO efficient. Photos were not a hassle and fun, in fact! We highly recommend these two for wedding and engagement photography! Well worth the investment to have a worry-free, wedding photography experience. We never doubted that Alison and mike would capture all the important moments! They are also incredible at indoor shots with poor lighting-something hard to come by when searching for a photographer!

Alison was PHENOMENAL. I used her for my 11/5/2016 wedding. The pictures are unreal. I have had multiple wedding guests and friends contact me to tell me how amazing they look. The best part, we had ALL of our pictures within 10 days of the wedding. I have friends that waited 6-8 months for photos....we were able to see them all a few days after the honeymoon!

Alison was great to work with. We took engagement photos about a year before the wedding, and she stayed in contact throughout the planning process.

Alison and her husband, Mike, made sure we got every single specific picture we asked for, and they helped us find the perfect locations for photos the day of. We wanted downtown pictures, and they had it organized down to the minute to make sure we got everywhere we needed to be on time (even with traffic). They were so professional and on top of everything, but also really nice and fun to work with.

A really cool feature was that the uploaded some pictures onto an iPad at dinner to let us look at them. We got to see about a dozen pictures at dinner, and then they placed the iPad at the bar for guests to look at. Everyone loved it!

After the professional pictures Alison and Mike blended into the background and we almost forgot they were there. They got so many fun pictures of guests that we were really excited to get to see.

I felt completely taken care of throughout the entire process. I always knew what was going on, and I never worried about anything. Alison made sure I knew that she would handle whatever happened!

Alison and Mike were both so professional and accommodating throughout our wedding, we loved our pictures, they turned out beautifully! The pair go far above and beyond for their clients, sending the most thoughtful notes, cards and gifts leading up to and after our wedding. We couldn't have been happier or had a better experience with our photographers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for services in the Pittsburgh area.

Alison and Mike make the perfect duo to photograph your wedding! The love they have for each other and the way they work so well together truly adds something special to all the pictures they take. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the way our wedding pictures turned out! They captured every moment and every detail of our day so perfectly. I honestly cannot say enough not only about their work but them as individuals. Such great people to work with! Not to mention Alison helped me with things a photographer isn't hired to do! She helped fix my dress multiple times, she helped me with my veil and also with my garter when it kept falling down. Obviously, she is AWESOME!

We could not be happier with our experience with Alison Mish Photography! Alison and Mike are incredibly talented and professional. They were very helpful with posing us for photos and made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera. They were so thoughtful throughout our engagement and sent us fun little notes and small gifts to get us excited for the big day. We knew they really cared about us and took the responsibility of photographing our wedding very seriously. They happily traveled from Pittsburgh to Lancaster for our wedding and were very reasonable with what they asked for in terms of travel compensation. Alison and Mike were also very helpful while the guys and girls were coordinating on the wedding morning. They were sure to communicate with each other so that my husband and I did not see each other before the ceremony. During the reception, I felt like they were EVERYWHERE! They really paid attention to photographing many of our guests, which we love. It is wonderful not to only have great pictures of us and the wedding party, but also our guests. We also love the PASS software that they use to share the photos. It is very easy to work with and it is great to have quick access to all of the pictures. We have not ordered our wedding album yet (too many amazing pictures to choose from), but the samples we were shown are beautiful and can't wait to have our own!

Where do we begin! We met Alison Mish and her husband at their home where we were greeted with homemade cookies and coffee. She had a very professional office setup and was very patient and excited to explain the entire process and services she offered. We left leaving there, even though it was our first interview, knowing that she was a great find and recommendation from other local vendors who were previously booked for our date (Hot Metal Studios, Rachel Rowland, and Aaron Varga - note that all 3 recommended her!).

Our engagement session was such a great experience! The weather did not really cooperate, it rained a bit, it burst with snow pellets, was cold, somewhat sunny, but lots of fallen colorful leaves for the Fall! And through it all, Alison found the right angles, light, and positioning for us to make a great engagement session. The whole evening was topped off with her patience as we traveled from our 1st site to 2nd site as she stayed very positive and energetic. We saw the photos shortly after (~1 week) on a personal website she setup for us, and they were AMAZING! We actually used a set of photos she took along with her recommendations to have her design Save the Date cards. Which those turned out just as great as her photos from the engagement session!

As the wedding approached she contacted us with possible sites to have photos at, the groups of friends, family formals, and ideas of timing. Just like the feelings we had with our engagement session, everything went smoothly! At the wedding, her husband (her 2nd shooter) was very comfortable and conversational with the guys as we were getting ready. And from the photos I was able to see, Alison had a great time with the girls as they were getting ready. Throughout the ceremony they moved easily about to get key photos and moments. Both were dressed professionally for the occasion.
