Alicia Wheeler is a very talented makeup and hair artist. Her team is also very skilled and equally devoted. Their attention to detail is exceptional and they made the entire bridal party look picture-perfect. I would highly recommend Alicia Wheeler if you want that "magazine look" for the wedding day! Btw, no touch ups were necessary! :)

Alicia is not only an amazing makeup artist, but is one of the sweetest and most gentle women I've ever worked with. She took every idea I had on-board and really worked with me to find a makeup look that worked for my wedding and accentuated my best features. My bridesmaids looked dynamite as well. She was ALWAYS on time, responsive to email, and very organized when it came to laying out her services and cost structures. Alicia was absolutely fantastic. I had some very specific needs for my wedding week-- first of all, someone who could work with Pakistani skin tones, and also someone who could create two completely different looks for our mehndi (traditional henna party) event and the actual wedding day. Alicia delivered that and more. I have never received more compliments---both my hair and my makeup were flawless, and Alicia made me glow for both occasions. She was also very flexible with what I wanted-- I was able to make specific requests and change my mind as we worked together, and she catered to my needs during each occasion. Thank you SO much, Alicia, for making my day extraordinary.

Alicia is amazing! First of all she is a really good makeup artist. I wanted a rosie look for my wedding; a little pink, but not too much. She got it perfectly. I am so happy with it. I had only a vague idea of what I wanted for my hair but I showed her random photos of looks I liked that barely had anything in common, but she found the essence of what I wanted and created a beautiful hair do for me, a little messy and free but still a fancy up-do.

My wedding was rushed and Alicia had already been working since dawn on an engagement photo shoot, but she showed up early with all her gear (she comes prepared) and went right to work making me beautiful.

I can't recommend her enough.

Alicia Wheeler is hands down the absolute best makeup artist I have had the pleasure of working with. She completely saved me! As a girl that doesn't like to wear too much makeup I was apprehensive to let someone else do it for my wedding day because I still wanted to look and feel like myself. Alicia has the softest touch and the way she applied my makeup felt so light! I literally felt like I wasn't wearing any. I love that she really brought out the best of me, but still kept the look very clean and glamorous. I was also worried about smudging my makeup if I cried at the ceremony and let me tell you guys I cried a river and that makeup did not budge! I'm forever thankful to Alicia for making my day all the more amazing! I would highly recommend her work to anyone and everyone, she's simply wonderful!

Super impressed with Alicia! Not only is she very talented in her makeup skills, but she has a very warm, friendly and welcoming personality. She will make you feel comfortable and most importantly she will LISTEN to what it is you want for your look! I am very picky with my makeup, and had a few trials done with different make up artists before my wedding... All of which had five star reviews, but nobody listened to what I wanted for my look. Alicia not only listened, but even took notes!! and made sure she understood exactly what was desired for my make up look. She offers suggestions, and is very open to changing anything that you may want changed. I wanted a very simple, clean, elegant look and Alicia made it happen. Wow! I could not be happier with the way I looked on my wedding day. I will never have my make up done by anyone else!
After my trial, she took pictures and wrote down a few of the products she used on me. A few days after, I received a follow up email with pictures of my trial, some of the products she recommends (in case I needed touching up for the day of my wedding) as well as confirmed any changes from the trial look. I was so impressed. Surely enough, her notes made my wedding day look Flaw.Less!!! I instantly smile every time I see a close up of my face on my wedding day, thanks to Alicia! A true artist!

On top of having amazing results for hair and makeup, I had a fun and stress free wedding day and peace of mind knowing I was in good hands. And that's how it's supposed to be :)

Alicia what can I say, hands down I have become a client for life. Before hiring Alicia for makeup for my wedding she had done a trial and my bridal shower makeup and hair, she is the ultimate make up artist. She listens to your needs, she LOVES her job and she talks you through to figure out what best works with your skin, face and facial features. She never rushes and you feel like she only wants you to feel your Best! I found Alicia through my wedding coordinator. Unlike other vendors you never can any your make up or hair stylist to be late or not responsive which I unfortunately came across through my wedding planning. Not only does Alicia show up earlier than appointments she is very friendly, puts you at ease, you don't have to worry about a thing, and for perks she glams you up and it turns out Bette than you expected. I would recommend Alicia for all your beauty needs: easy to talk to, SUPER friendly, prompt with phone calls and emails. It was a pleasure having her around every time. Alicia provided extremely timely and quick responses to all my emails and text messages leading up to my wedding day. I don't wear a lot of make-up usually and wanted to feel comfortable with it on my wedding day. Alicia respected my request and made my make-up look natural yet also emphasize my eyes and cheekbones etc. She did such a beautiful job and it was exactly what I wanted.

Alicia had asked me beforehand to bring any pictures of make-up or hair that I liked, but I didn't have an exact picture in my mind/I'm a make-up and hair newbie. Alicia worked with my vague description of "tousled waves" and "natural" make-up, was so flexible and used her expertise to make me beautiful!

I liked that Alicia explained every part of the make-up process to me, so I would know what to expect. Alicia also did a wonderful job with my hair and was able to put my veil in even with my hair down.

We completed the bridal party's make up and hair in the morning and went to take our First-look pictures, Alicia was kind enough to take the time and effort to meet me at the church afterwards to touch me up before the ceremony, fix my veil and my hair. My make-up held up beautifully the whole night, even in spite of a few tears throughout the ceremony and reception (Alicia used water-proof products). I am SO pleased with Alicia's work, I would definitely recommend her to everyone!! In terms of pricing, it was very reasonable, and an amazing value for the beautiful work that she did. She is such a talented make-up artist!

Alicia did an amazing job for this wedding. She was extremely professional and took some time to get to know each one of us so that she could cater to what we wanted/were comfortable with. It also helps that she is super sweet and friendly--it was very easy talking to her and letting her know what I did/didn't want. She even took the time to explain some concerns I had about applying makeup (not just for the event). Alicia was the best! I would definitely recommend her.
