This is a long overdue review from my wedding in March, but I needed to go back and rave about my experience with Laken! Laken was such an easygoing, talented, and professional person to work with for my wedding hair. She traveled to me for my trial and was so flexible and patient despite me being indecisive about my hair up until the day of the wedding lol. She made me and my wedding party feel so beautiful! She literally executed the looks we wanted flawlessly, and she was so kind and easy to get along with! I highly recommend her for your wedding!

I had the pleasure of working with Laken for my wedding, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From the moment we met, she was incredibly attentive, taking the time to listen to each member of my bridal party and understanding exactly what we wanted. Everyone had different hair textures, styles, and preferences, but she made sure each of us felt heard and left with a look we loved.

What really impressed me was how efficient she was. Despite the variety of requests, she was able to work quickly without compromising on quality. She even finished earlier than expected, which was such a relief on a busy wedding day.

In addition to her technical expertise, Laken was so polite and professional, creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere in what can sometimes be a stressful environment. She kept things moving smoothly while making everyone feel comfortable and pampered.

Laken was absolutely incredible. She and her assistant Ciarrah did hair and makeup for me, my 2 bridesmaids, my mom, and 2.5 year old flower girl in April 2024. I can't say enough positive things about everything about the experience - Laken was extremely organized and easy to communicate with, as well as proactive to make sure we set up a timely trial that didn't get lost amidst busy months before the wedding. She was very accommodating of my small house as our getting-ready location, and made all of us feel at ease for a very calm wedding day morning. She created beautiful looks for everyone - including being very patient with the rambunctious flower girl - that lasted through windy post-ceremony photos to the very end of the reception. For my look specifically, Laken was so attentive and helpful in talking me through my final looks and some changes I decided to make from our trial, and she fully understood and executed exactly what I was going for. I would 100% recommend her to absolutely anyone!

Laken was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t love her more. For starters, me and my bridesmaids looked absolutely incredible. She was also prompt, full of positive energy and did an amazing job. She was meticulous, and made sure all of our hair was to our liking before finishing (even my mother, who is a Karen). I would recommend Laken for any event, she is truly skilled at her craft and just an overall kind human.

Laken has made my experience wonderful! She is extremely flexible, responsive, and supportive during the whole process. She truly cares about the bride's experience and will do the best she can to make accommodations when needed. My favorite experience was how constantly she'll check up on me, ensuring I am happy with my decisions, and adjusting throughout our time together. She's overall amazing and I would recommend her to everyone!

Laken was incredible! She was so professional, clean, very responsive via email, and executed my vision perfectly for my big day! She was so much fun to get ready with and her calm, kind, and fun demeanor made for the best morning. She even gave me a list of the products she used so I could purchase them after! Warm, kind, and thoughtful; just a few words to characterize Laken Reno. Not only does she do an excellent job with hair as well as makeup but any concerns I had she made sure to address, any ideas, no matter how vague she was able to refine. She is great for smaller weddings as instead of a person minimum she has a dollar minimum. There were some hiccups on my end a couple times but she remained professional, patient, and understanding. This lady is absolutely amazing, she went so far as to assist with getting my dress laced up. If I ever have a chance to hire her again, I absolutely would!

Laken did my hair + MOB & MOG + bridesmaids' hair for my 7/10/22 wedding! Everyone looked stunning, and I couldn't have been happier with the way my hair turned out. I was already very happy with my trial, and then we made a few small changes on the day of the wedding, and it was INCREDIBLE! I was seriously blown away by the way my hair looked on the day of my wedding. It help up ALL NIGHT, and not a single bobby pin was poking my head :) 10/10 recommend Laken for your hair!!

Starting with my hair and makeup trials, Laken was professional, kind and knowledgeable. She told me what she was doing every step of the way, and she takes the time to come to you- which is huge when it comes to feeling yourself during trial appointments.

Once I booked Laken for the bridal party makeup, she followed up on a regular basis and was very communicative and clear every step of the way.

On the day of the wedding, I had major jitters, and was being a bit indecisive. I had planned to have my hair down and we even discussed changing the style up a bit. About an hour out from hair and makeup it dawns on me that I will be miserable with my hair down, since I planned to dance the night away- and already just sweat so easily. Laken was SO patient with me. She never once made me feel bad or inconsiderate for changing up my hair last minute- she just wanted me to be happy- and I can say for sure, that I was! I felt like a Queen and my hair was stunning.

Laken has a great personality, she is friendly and really easy to get along with. Pair this with her talent and the way she does business and I guarantee you will want to book her over and over again!
