When my wife and I were meeting with photographers, it was very important to us that they understood we were two females and wouldn't pose us in a traditional male/female dynamic. We didn't feel like any photographers we met with (which was a lot lol) fully understood that until we met with Alessandra and Charlie... and my god - she took this and ran with it. There is not a single photo in which we feel either of us looks anything other than exactly how we are. Our photographer was one of the most important vendors for us because photos are one of the only tangible things you get to look back on forever. From our engagement session to our wedding day, every single photo Alessandra took came out absolutely incredible. Where do I even begin to share how amazing Alessandra was. She worked with us on a post wedding photoshoot on the Brooklyn bridge. She was so easy to work with, quick to respond to emails and even helpful when our plan had to change due to weather. She made it feel just as special as our actual wedding day and her energy, enthusiasm and kindness was incredible. She was easy to talk to and her visions for photos were SO good. When we got the sneak peek and then the full gallery we were so impressed with her work. First of all we look like we are the only people on the Brooklyn bridge, how she managed that I will never know, and the secondly the pictures are absolutely incredible. They are romantic, whimsical and just beautiful. We were honestly a little sad we didn’t find her before our wedding day just because she was so awesome! If you are debating her for your wedding or family shoot, don’t! She is all you could want in a photographer and keeps the day moving with kindness, she would be an amazing addition to your vendor team. Did I mention she woke up to drive from long island to the Brooklyn bridge for a SUNRISE shoot… the dedication is unmatched! They were personable, professional and did an absolute amazing job on my wedding day! I look back at my photos and feel so grateful to have such amazing memories that perfectly encapsulate the day. Personally, I am picky when it comes to seeing pictures of myself- let tell you, there was not a single picture that I saw that made me feel self conscious. For your day, you should feel and look like a bride and this was 1000% reflected in my photos. I am having a hard time picking which photos to choose for my wedding album! From the beginning: We hired them to do our engagement pictures. Since we live in the city, we had a few ideas where we would like our session to be and Alessandra suggested Fort Tryon Park. It was the perfect setting of urban and picturesque. The team made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and it didn't feel like a chore. My husband and I had all the feels and truly felt at ease. It was such a special day. Of course the photos are amazing and I had a hard time picking the photos for my save the dates because there were so many to choose from. At our wedding day- It rained on our day, right after our ceremony. Once the ceremony was over, we were supposed to bring our family to the lighthouse to take pictures. They quickly pivoted and utilized the church (and the deck) to make sure we had amazing family portraits and made sure we all stayed dry in the process. I would not have ever imagined the results- a true sign of a professional and experienced team. Everyone had smiles on their face- I did not once get stressed or worried that we would not get our family photos. They truly know what they are doing. After the church, the bridal party moved to the second location for bridal party pictures and the sun came out in full force. The photography made sure every single groomsmen had NOTHING in their pockets and made sure everyone was in place and ready to go. I had 12 people in my bridal party- they were able to corral everyone and make sure that we were going to get perfect pictures. I have been in weddings before and sometimes it feels like taking group photos becomes a chore. I know I am biased because this was my wedding, but I do feel like everyone had a good time overall. We also purchased their video package (this is a new offering and 10000% worth it). we are so looking forward to seeing the video once it is ready!
