Aide-mémoire Jewelry is a queer-owned fine jewelry studio on Washington's Olympic Peninsula specializing in bespoke engagement rings and wedding bands. We believe in high-quality craftsmanship with a sharp focus on ethically sourced materials and processes. We merge traditional handcraft techniques with the latest technology, utilizing everything from time-honored metalworking skills to computer-aided design and 3D printing.
We work exclusively with a select few suppliers for our metals, diamonds, and gemstones. We work with recyled precious metals, and our colored gemstones are lab-grown, recycled, or fair trade. The diamonds we use are lab-grown or recycled natural.
We believe jewelry is for everyone. Rings don't have a gender; they're simply circles of metal meant to symbolize love. Our goal is to help you find something that feels good to wear and true to you.

Beautiful Wedding Bands
I ordered a men’s wedding ring from Aide-mémoire in the spring and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. My wife and I went into the shop beforehand to discuss ring options, and the staff was very informative and easy to work with. There was no pressure to buy anything and they were more than happy to let us think more about the ring options before we purchased. We love how eco-friendly their products are while also being affordable and high-quality. 10/10 recommend this place to others!

Beautiful jewelry
We were delighted to have Aide-mémoire Jewelry craft our wedding rings and to support this woman-owned business. We made two visits to their shop in Seattle, during which they worked with us to discern the type of metal and style of ring design that would be best for each of us. The results were just what we had hoped for. We’re proud to wear our wedding rings every day!

One of a kind ring!
Aran’s designs are like no other. my husband lost his first band & we spent months looking for the right replacement. Finally we found Aide Memoire and we ordered my husband’s ring, an Ancient textured band, after a consult in their adorable studio in Wallingford. He couldn’t be happier with the ring. It fits to perfection and looks custom, but with an affordable price tag. The whole process was so intimate and each interaction handled with care and attention to detail. We will definitely work with her on future jewelry purchases and couldn’t recommend the experience and product highly enough. Thanks Aran!

Local, Eco-Friendly, Gorgeous!
We decided we wanted locally, ethically made rings at a reasonable price. I was enamored with their website, and the pieces were even more alluring in person. Every interaction, they were courteous and responsive. The physical business is inconspicuous and somewhat difficult to find. We asked a neighboring business and they didn't even know there was a jewelry maker nearby! My husband and I both have simple, rose gold wood-textured wedding rings. They are beautiful, comfortable, durable, and - above all - unique. I feel they truly capture our story. I've told my husband that I want any future jewelry to come from Aide Memoire!

Earlier this year my partner and I started doing on research on engagement rings and after doing lots of looking around Aide Memoire really stood out to us. We met with Alaina in the spring and did not really know what to expect since neither of us has purchased jewelry before. When we arrived at the shop, it was cozy and tucked in a small building. Alaina let us into a bright and well-decorated room and offered us some chocolate peanut butter cups. Throughout our appointment, she was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. We had a truly wonderful experience and ended up with a ring that not only fits my style and what I had been hoping for but was in our budget, is woman owned, environmentally and socially conscious and the ring constantly gets compliments! We cannot wait to go back to get our wedding bands made early next year. If you are looking for a personal and local experience when you are ring or other jewelry shopping, this is your spot.
