Agnes has been so great to work with! We did our engagement shoot with her, and knew at once that she would be our wedding day photographer. She truly is talented and her work speaks for itself. She was very good about listening to what we wanted and didn't think our suggestions were beneath her, which is a refreshing change! She also went above and beyond with helping do up the bustle on my dress, telling us the best way to cut the cake, and reminding me every now and again to relax. :) The engagement pictures were amazing, and I look forward to seeing our wedding pictures soon!

Agnes was not our primary photographer, and how we regretted it. We found each other through a mutual friend, and she came along to help build her portfolio. She was 10times better than our actual photographer. Her attitude and passion for the work was such a wonderful thing to have on that day (unlike my other joke of a photographer) we spent so much money on our first photographer.. And we have zero pictures hanging from that day. Agnes' pictures are the only ones hanging on my walls and on my social media accounts. She truly appreciates and loves what she does...and it shows through her work. Everyone in our wedding party was impressed with her work AND personality. She will be the ONLY photographer we ever contact again . we have already done a fall session photoshoot which was so much fun and I hope to schedule her as a gift for my Godchild's first birthday. She's great!

Agnes took our engagement pictures at the Naperville Riverwalk this past spring. Our pictures turned out AMAZING!!! We couldn't be happier with our pictures! Agnes is the sweetest most talented woman we have ever met! We look forward to her taking our wedding pictures this coming November!

Agnes was the photographer for my wedding. I cannot say enough about how great she was. Agnes was extremely professional and very personable; my bridal party and myself felt very comfortable with her. She was extremely flexible and helpful. She was always responsive and very patient; she does great work with young children. I really appreciated how she would check the photos to make sure everyone looked good and their eyes were open. The photographs for my wedding were breathtaking & I would definitely recommend the photographer, the only thing I regret or wish had gone differently was I wish the photographer gave me some direction so I didn't have to worry about specific pictures & wished I had time in person with my photographer before the wedding so I could have discussed everything I wanted & let her know I needed guidance through the wedding process.

I am never one to write a negative review however, I feel others should be aware of my experience working with Agnes as they research which photographer to go with on their special day. I am a very patient person and always give someone the benefit of the doubt. From start to finish there was nothing but a lack of follow through and understanding of how to run a business. Agnes’s only saving grace is that she takes great photos. Below is my personal experience ending with having to get the Better Business Bureau involved:

I saw that Agnes had amazing reviews online and she happened to be available on our wedding celebration day 7/14/18. (I say wedding celebration because we were already married and were having a casual reception.) Her photography skills looked amazing and we were really excited. We hired her for three hours of photos.

-Part of the signed contract indicates Agnes will call the bride 1 week prior to the event to discuss photo planning. It was 4 days before our reception and I had not heard anything. I reached out to Agnes via email. Two days later she responded and we had a quick call two days before the reception. She asked me to write down the names of each family member and friend involved in the photos before the reception, and group them in order for her. This added more work to my plate and I feel this is something she should have taken notes on during our call.

-the day of the event things went ok. She made a comment about how she wished I had a bouquet to “hide” gesturing towards my stomach. I found this not only rude as I had just had a baby and knew I was not back to pre baby size, but also extremely unprofessional. We had a beautiful cake with amazing flowers. We did not receive a single picture of the cake or of us cutting the cake. I was shocked because we saw her take pictures of this. This was a very special part of our reception and we were very upset by this.

-The major issues started after our reception and dates not being fulfilled as stated in our contract. These dates are provided by Agnes and she is the one that chooses them. Digital photos are to be delivered within 42 days of the event.

-A few weeks after the reception I decided to look up Agnes’s FB page to see her recent work. As I was scrolling I saw some of our reception photos. They turned out great, but I was really surprised she did not reach out to me to send the sneak peak photos or to atleast notify me they were on her FB. I was not following her so I had no idea. From a customer service standpoint this was odd to me.

-I gave Agnes 8 full weeks and had not heard anything from her about the reception photos. I emailed her to follow up. 5 business days later I did not have a response so I called her. She happened to answer and immediately went into a long story about being in a car accident with her kids that had to go to the hospital. She explained she had to have physical therapy, and was really behind because she can’t work. She said she assumed I saw her post about it on FB. I was very sympathetic to her as it sounded like a terrible situation. I explained I don’t follow her on FB so I had no idea. (Again, I’m not sure why she did not communicate this to her customers. Especially since she was now beyond our contract deadline.) She said she would need another week or two. At this time I felt bad and understood. I decided to look at her FB page and saw not a single post about a car accident. However, I did see every week she had posted multiple sneak peak wedding photos and engagement photos. She was clearly very busy. I hate to think the worst, but if she was injured as she described I don’t know how she was attending all of these weddings and photo shoots in addition to editing photos.

-I gave Agnes two full weeks before emailing her to follow up on my photos. 5 business days later I did not have a response. I called Agnes and she explained she would need longer. At this point I was frustrated. Many friends that had weddings well after mine already had their photos. I didn’t even have a full wedding with ceremony, this was only 3 hours of reception photos.

-Finally on Oct 9th Agnes sent me our online gallery. No apology on being a month late either I might add. I was so relieved until I realized all the photos were locked and could not be downloaded or shared. I read through our contract and remembered she was supposed to send a USB. I emailed Agnes on Oct 15th asking if she had mailed the USB. She replied saying she “believes” she mailed it Oct 12th and we should receive it this week. We did not receive it, so on Oct 22nd I followed up with Agnes via email. I gave her 3 business days to reply and did not get a response so I called her. She answered and immediately went on another excuse tangent saying she saw the email, but has been so busy she doesn’t have time to reply to emails. She said she can’t keep up with all the work and doesn’t have time for her kids and is up late working etc etc. I asked if she was sure she mailed out the USB, and she said she thinks so but to give her 2 full weeks as “sometimes mail takes that long in her experience.” Never has any mail I have sent across the country taken that long let alone from Wheeling to Chicago. At this point I knew Agnes was absolutely lying and had not sent the USB. I was confused because the editing was done and loading photos onto the USB should be a quick task.

-I gave Agnes over two full weeks before notifying her I still did not have the USB. At this time I notified the Better Business Bureau because I was not confident we were ever going to get the USB. It was over 7 weeks passed the contract date. The case was accepted and delivered to Agnes. Magically she replied to me immediately and I received the USB two days later on Nov 1st.

-Although the photos turned out great, I would never recommend Agnes to anyone. I had to constantly follow up with her, she was beyond late and never reached out to me to explain or apologize. It was an absolute nightmare.
