About

Ace Hotel is a historic wedding venue located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, California. This ornate, elegant hotel venue provides expert service and a breathtaking backdrop for your once-in-a-lifetime celebration that you and your guests will remember for years to come.

Facilities and Capacity

Ace Hotel offers both indoor and outdoor venue options with grand decor for a ceremony and reception that your guests aren’t soon to forget. The Theatre is a delicately restored, 1,600-seat movie palace from the 1920s with a massive, three-story grand lobby. It is the epicenter for art and modern entertainment with a prime setting for a wide array of events. This space is retrofitted with a state-of-the-art digital projection system and cinema sound, an independent, ultramodern live sound system, plus an elaborate contemporary stage lighting system. The Segovia Hall is a flexible second floor event space, flooded over with natural light and Old Hollywood mystique. With lush, heavy red curtains, it can function as one large room or be portioned into three separate banquet spaces. The Walker/Eisen Room is a highly adaptable second-floor banquet space, adjoining the main chamber of Segovia Hall. The Mezzanine at LOAM sits atop the venue's bustling LOAM restaurant. This cozy space looks out over the restaurant’s lofty ceilings and beautiful stained glass windows, and includes a communal dining table, additional seating, and a bar. It can be reserved for parties of 30-40 guests. Upstairs is the venue's rooftop bar, featuring a concrete pool and views of the city's bright lights stretched out in all directions.

Services Offered

Ace Hotel offers many services for a seamless and stress-free experience. They provide stunning venue options, comfortable accommodations for overnight guests, audio and visual capabilities, and the convenience of catering through their on-site restaurant.

Cuisine

Ace Hotel offers the convenience of in-house catering through their bistro, LOAM, featuring rotating, seasonal fare and classic favorites. Chef Michael Cimarusti helms the menu, with Chef Brandon Gray running the kitchen, and beverage director Clay Wendel generously pouring the wine, beer, and cocktails.

History

Ace Hotel opened early 2014 in the historic United Artists building in downtown Los Angeles. Built in 1927 for the maverick film studio, this ornate and vibrant Los Angeles gem stands as a monument to a group of seminal American artists pushing out on their own, and anchors the Broadway Theater District's modern Renaissance.
