My husband and I loved working with Annie and David for our wedding photos! They're super sweet, professional, and easy to work with. They're the BEST at responding to emails. They showed up early, stayed late, and got pictures back to us faster than expected. Annie was our main photographer and she was great about giving us two awkward turtles instructions on how to pose. She was good about managing the shoot well but was also flexible enough to take our requests. A number of our guests commented on how pleasant our photographer was as well. The photos we got back were high quality and tastefully edited. In short...would recommend :)

We chose A Tale Ahead Photography because when we looked at photos from their past weddings, we loved the bright, vibrant, and natural-looking photos - and that's exactly what we ended up getting! At the wedding, Annie & David knew exactly what they were doing and we felt at ease knowing they had everything under control. They did a wonderful job getting all the key photos of our wedding and reception, and captured so many great spontaneous moments that I hadn't even noticed. If it weren't for their quick reactions, I'd never know exactly what I looked like with cake smeared on my nose!

We got our photos digitally about a month after our wedding, and got our prints and album a little over a month after that. About the album: everything about it, from the cover to the design and of course the images themselves, is so beautiful, and everyone who sees it comments on it. And I LOVE the set of canvases we got that now hang above our fireplace. Overall, it was such a great experience and we got such great memories. Thank you so much Annie & David!

Annie and David are amazing! Annie took our engagement photos and both Annie and David took our wedding photos. All of the photos we've received are stunning and completely exceeded our expectations. Annie was always so enthusiastic and had great energy with our engagement session and during the wedding. She climbed around to get the best angle for some of our photos, including climbing a wall at the Palace of Fine Arts! We aren't usually comfortable taking photos but she made us feel at ease and gave direction well. Annie and David worked well together to get all of the shots during the wedding. We even got a couple of bonus photos of a cute squirrel that they took while they were waiting for us to arrive for our first look (one of which is now my lock screen on my phone, haha).
